This is pretty hypocritical of Katy once again since she is married to a man who just made a movie where he parodies rock stars who have messiah complexes, yet it's not much of a parody since Brand has the biggest messiah complex I've ever witnessed. The man is also a fan of Bill Hicks whose act centered on satirizing the oppressive elements of right wing Christianity (the exact same people that Katy comes from and will go back to once her secular career is over) and he lost his career over it in America because he was censored off the airways, the stress of which probably accelerated his cancer. Oh, and what about Lenny Bruce Katy? Katy should also realize that as someone who was brought up religious, but not Catholic as Stefani was, she doesn't really know what she's talking about. Most of Katy's act and the things that she says are far more compromising and offensive than second hand religious shock imagery, which Madonna has being trading on for years. I completely don't understand how Brand can do a 180 degree turn in what he used to say about religious tolerance since he's dating Perry. He seems to have completely lost direction in his message.

Blasphemy is more like tattooing Jesus on your hand and holding that as some sort of talisman to ward off the fact that you're not staying true to your values. I find them both equally laughable but here is something for Perez and the rest of you Gaga lovers…When her first single came out I couldn't trust my ears – she sounded just like any of the surreal, ridiculous, characters who perform on the Serbian, aptly named, Grand Parada = Grand Parade (if you know what I'm talking about even better). Anyway, the point is that all these Serbian caricatures seem to be endowed with, what we in the Balkans refer to as, a third tonsil which, when used, produces the wonderful vibrato making the hair on my back rise and not in a good way. Now, Grand Parada is the epitome of trashy which, sadly enough, the majority of people in the Balkans find strongly appealing, and I felt pretty down about this fact until I realized that such form of trash/Gaga obviously resonates fantastically with the rest of the world as well, which brings me to my actual point that when the West points the finger at us once again for not being evolved enough they should first remember where Gaga comes from.
