Two movies AND True Blood?! Where will he find the time to finally marry Sookie Stackhouse????

Stephen Moyer of True Blood fame has just signed on for two new films. The first will be an action-suspense flick alongside Richard Gere and Topher Grace. Stephen will play a Russian spy who killed a senator in Washington.

ZZzzz! Next!

The second flick, slated to start shooting next month, is a big-screen adaptation of the 1960s series, Valley. Jessica Lange will be stepping into the Barbara Stanwyck role of the matriarch of the Barkleys, a family of ranchers in 19th century California. Stephen will be playing Jarrod Barkley, the family's attorney.

A remake of another old TV show???

Double Zzzzzz!

Stick to being a vampire, Bill!

    It's Big Valley, not Valley.

once again, if the movie doesn't involve mario's "ph"ag agenda it's boring……..what happened to that boy band thing mario?

The Big Valley was a great show…especially when Miss Barbara Stanwyck would wear her black leather riding outfit.

Also starred Lee Majors and Linda Evans.

You know nothing about Hollywood, asshole.

The series you're referring to was called "The Big Valley." Regardless, you're right about one thing - it sounds like a snoozefest. My Mom and Dad used to love it "back in the day" so I guess if they can find enough senior citizens to pay to see it, the studio might (might) just make their money back.

P is a BIG LOSER who cannot copy and past anything accurately, let alone KNOW what he's talking about. He wasn't even speaking english when that show was on

Moyer is always excellent - ever since he did BBC TV shows. A big screen Big Valley could work if they just made it a free standing plot and not try so hard to make it some sort of homage. I mean, the storyline is pretty flexible.

I think it's great that he landed 2 big projects. Stephen is a great actor, and I think its great that he's working during the TB hiatus. He's got a diverse body of work, so I see him more than just Vampire Bill.

who cares if they are boring…we can just look at him. The films don;t sound bad at all. I'll pay the $10.00

You REALLY need to fire your research/posting people Perez! The show you are referencing is "The Big Valley" about the Barclay family in Stockton, California. Also, in your piece about Katies Holmes, the foundation she is working with is Nigel Lythgoes great foundation, "The Dizzy Feet" foundation…
