A Perezcious reader alerted us of this passage sent out in the GOOP newsletter back in February by Gwyneth Paltrow. It's about "friendship" and reads:

"What do you do when you realize that although you many have years of history, and found real value in each other in times past, that you kind of don't like a friend anymore? That, after time spent with this person, you feel drained, empty, belittled or insulted. My father always used to tell me that, 'you can't make new old friends.' How do you distinguish if someone in your life makes you change for the better of if you are better off without them?"

Interesting question.

Care to answer, MADONNA???

I am a fan of Madonna's music but not of her……she seems very nacissitic, out of touch and it's just…boring. She talks about being true to "herself" with a british fucking accent…REALLY MADONNA? …I live about 2 hours away from where you were raised DETROIT..and no-one talks that way there. WTF? Gwenyth Paltrow knew exactly what she was getting into when she befriended Madonna. Madonna is a bitch and brutally honest. She also has a sense of humor that can be a bit abrasive…Gwen knew Madonna in her religious years when she was married and in Britain…Now she's single and in America and Gwen is probably just mad that Madonna is too busy to call her and spend time with her. Gwen is WAY too needy and seems like a big wuss. Get over it honey…Everyone wants a piece of Madonna, so get in line.
