R-Patz Talks Breaking Dawn!
If you are a Twi-hard, you've read the final 3,000 page installment of Twilight like 30 times.
And since you've read it that many times, you realize that there is some stuff in there that turns this sweet teen vamp love story a little KINKY!
And guess what? Robert Pattinson is all for it! Bring on the R-rating!!!
R-Patz gave a little insight to what's to come in Breaking Dawn when it finally starts shooting and what he hopes to see in the script once it is completed:
“I think it will be interesting…I’m curious to see what it’ll look like…We don’t procrastinate any longer. Bella telling me, ‘I want you to turn me’ and me going, ‘No, no, no.’ She becomes a vampire in this movie. We get married and sleep together…I haven’t read the script yet but I’m sure it’ll be good…I’m wondering how they will be able to translate this on screen. We’ll end up with a R-rated movie. Can you imagine if we decided to go in and turn Twilight into a hardcore saga for adults with sex scenes and everything?”
Actually, we can. So can the millions of Twi-Moms and other middle age women who have attached their lives to this crazy thing called Twilight Mania.
So, maybe you and KStew should get really nasty doing the nasty, you know, for the fans. (If you can stand it!)

could be interesting to see how they film it, my money's on the "daytime soap opera" version where you just see two heads sticking out of the covers.
what they really ought to do is rewrite the entire ending for the movie, it was AWFUL in the book. a new ending where the audience has no idea what will happen would be exciting AND save the movie from being crap

They'll probably handle it in the same PG-13 way the book did. We got to read about the pre-sex moments and then it skipped to post-sex, telling us that it was going to happen, letting us know that it did happen but not letting us be there during.
Well I don't think they will make it too Rated-R because many of their fans are still really young and they would lose a lot of them if it is an R-rated film. So far the studio only cares about making money and not on how good the movie comes out so my bet is on the soap opera comment made by pocopoco sounds like something they would do.
I've developed a new appreciation for Kristen Stewart- by watching True Blood. LOL. At least Kristen is true to herself. Or maybe it's just the character she plays. I'd rather watch Bella than Sooki Crackhouse or whatever her name is. Anna Paquin is so homely. She's got a moon face & a gap-tooth smile. You can't say she couldn't afford braces. And when she bleaches her hair for that role she looks like a piece of trailer trash. Kristen is so much prettier. Another thing I like about the Twilight movies is that they don't use the F word in every other sentence. The books were NOT like that. I know because I've read them. So I'm a prude. Whatever. I still have standards, even if some other people don't. Everyone always makes a big deal out of Anna's nude scenes. She's really got nothing to brag about. I'm bigger than that. A lot of women are. Hell must be freezing over. I actually like K-Stew now. And R-Patz is a million times better looking than Bill whatshisname. Better voice too.
Bring on the R rating! Although the book is far from R… it gets you ALL hot and bothered and then ____________________
I wouldn't even let my kid read the 4th book. There is the scene where they are making out in the water and in the bed. Plus the part where she has the baby and is changed. I doubt I will be letting my kid see the final Twilight movie either. Not until she's older at least.
I saw Twilight last night for the first time and THIS is what people are going insane over? Jeez, it was a B movie in every respect. I hope the books are better (perhaps the follow up films ARE better), cause this was marginal at best. The actors were ok enough, but everything else (including the story itself) was blech. Boring storyline, lame music, dad looked like he'd fit well in a 70s Porno. Why was this an IT movie??

I don't believe Rob said this and NOOOOO it should not be R rated. They would loose their target audience. The twi-tarts would be to young to get into the theather. Besides Stephanie Meyers WILL NOT allow that to happen. She has said that many many times.

If you have read the books, you know that she does not go into detail as far as the sex scenes. It is simply implied. The are tastefully written and I hope they keep it that way in the script. Breaking Dawn is my favorite book and I hope the writers do it justice.

Um what book are you thinking about? Because Breaking Dawn has nothing of that except the fact you know they had a wedding night but there is no detail. You can stop waiting for the R rating, Stephenie Meyer wont allow it. And many know that a lot of the fans of twilight are still teenagers and even kids thrown in to the bunch, If we get it, it would be for the birth scene, not a sex scene.

I don't think Stephanie Meyer would let that happen, with her being Mormon and all. I hope it doesn't become R rated…that would be a shame. As a Mormon myself I choose not to watch R movies and I would be pretty bummed if I couldn't see the movie!

I think Summit Entertainment wants to keep it PG-13 because such a large portion of the audience is in that group. It would make a great R movie, but that will not happen.
