Dr. Murray In Trouble With California Medical Board!

There is a target on his back and the Cali Medical Board is ready to take aim!

Representatives from the board have asked a judge to order Dr. Conrad Murray to stop practicing medicine immediately to "protect California's citizens."

Last week, the Board filed papers claiming that the current restrictions on Conrad's medical practices, including administering "deep anesthetics", were "insufficient under the circumstances of this defendant's behavior."

You know, how he assisted in the death of a musical legend!

In the docs, the Board states, "It is not just his 'prescribing' practices that are in question, but his fundamental judgment and skill as a physician." Therefore, a cease and desist order was requested to stop Conrad from practicing medicine until his criminal trial regarding Michael Jackson's death reaches a conclusion.

We agree this should happen, but at this point, is it really necessary? What patient in their right mind is still carrying this man as their primary physician???

No doubt that this should happen but it should be permanently, not just until the end of the trial. Murray can fight for his license but Michael can't fight for his life!

His license should have been yanked away from him on June 26, 2009! As a doctor his actions were not on point with the oath he took. The meds. he gave Michael for one weren't even supposed to be given at home and secondly he had no back-up in case an emergency situation was to happen. His fundemental judgement was off in many cases. For instance, who in the world does CPR on a bed? especially as a doctor you would know that is NOT acceptible. Also, who walks away from your patient for even a second when they are heavilly sedated under a very powerful med.? Alot of things about that day does not add up. He didn't tell the the ambulance people (can't think of the correct title at the moment) exactly what he had given Michael which was very important. This man no matter how much child support he has or how much debt he is in should have had his license revoked almost a year ago. Justice4MJ

Murray should have lost his license months ago, he did some very unrthical things.

And for all the haters who are going to pop in and give your same ole 2 cents saying things like "He wanted it" or "He was a drug addict" Let me go down this road with you all again.. Michael did not want to die. He wanted to relax. He wanted rest and not eternal rest. He was not a drug addict and the autopsy report clearly showed that to be true. His organs were fine. He was in great shape and the only drugs in his system were the drugs that Murray admitted to giving him in those last hours. Michael had a problem and that problem was something that he delt with for years; insomnia. He was preparing for one of his if not the biggest shows of his life and used a method that he had used in the past to help him with that problem. He turned to a professional whom he thought he could trust. Remember, Michael didn't have to take an oath as a patient. He didn't go to medical school. He was asking for what he knew would help and isn't that what patients do? It is the doctors responsibility as the professional to evaluate the situation and do whatever necessary to keep his or her patient safe. Murray failed miserably.

Re: MJ fan59Michael did not want to die. He wanted to relax. He wanted rest and not eternal rest

i agree. but he's a smart guy. he should've known (just like the 'doctor') should've known that it was harming him more than doing good

yes… had he been a long suffering drug addict his organs would have suffered some damage but as you point out, his organs were fine.
