The Broadway revival of Hair is closing at the end of the month on June 27.

Sales started out strong when the show started back in March 2009, but have dropped considerably in the past few months.

But a national tour is lined up to begin in the fall starting in New Haven, Connecticut so you can catch it before it's gone!

Did U see Hair on Broadway?

I got to see it twice on Broadway and feel extremely blessed to have seen such a stunning show. It really speaks for the time we are in now AND for the time in which it was written. Not to mention, having my hair tousled by Will Swenson was a dream come true. I wish the cast and creative team the best in their future endeavors and auditions. I will DEFINITELY be seeing the tour when it comes to Minneapolis. I highly recommend seeing it.

I saw it when Will Swenson was still in the show and he was pretty damn hot. But, come on Perez, you are missing out on a little American Idol bashing: who came into the show a few months ago? Diana Degarmo as Sheila and Ace Young as Berger. AI has-been nakedness enters the show and boom, it dies off in a matter of months!

the show is so amazing and it is such a shame that it has to end so early. i have seen the show 3 times on broadway and am going to see the original cast in london soon. the problem is that the original broadway cast had something really special and am amazing bond that cannot be replicated. once the original broadway cast left for london and new cast came in, those that had loved the originals just weren't as into the newcomers. i specifically don't think that diana and ace american idol-heavy advertising helped their sales, but instead hurt them, because ai is not so much what hair is all about. however, i just love the show and know that it is way too early for it to be closing,

Sadly, wasn't able to see it on Broadway, but having seen local productions of the show before, I can say that Hair is one incredible musical. I'm looking forward to the tour.

Who wants to watch a show about tired old hippies! We get to see that everyday on the news with Code Pink and Messiah Dumbama's adoring fans. Old, tired, washed up hippies.

Gavin Creel and Bryce Ryness were phenominal - great show, great feel, and great energy!

Yesss, I saw Hair on Broadway. It was pretty good, just suppper sexual. Little awkward at times, but they had good music. Ace Young was the lead in it when I saw it, he did awesome. And Diana Digarmo was in it too. Her voice is unbelievable. Sad to see it go!

I saw it twice on Broadway during this run. The first time during first month it opened and it was basically full and then I saw it around Thanksgiving, still the original cast and it was pretty empty. Then I knew it was doomed, so I was surprised then even recast it after the originals went to London.
