They really want him!
CNN has an opening in their troubled prime-time lineup and they are hoping to snatch Piers Morgan to step in.
The snarky judge of America's Got Talent has gained a lot of notoriety and that is the kind of boost in image the network is after.
Ideally, they are trying to woo Piers into hosting a panel show about current events. No word yet if Piers is considering the offer.
If he does, we know who he could invite to his first panel! Gayken!
Wouldn't that be fun???

He's in Britain's got Talent, too.
I am from the UK, Scotland actually! It is strange watching how this guy masquarades as some sort of sweet personality on tv screens in North America. Over there he is well known for having been amongst other things, the editor of a national UK newspaper. He is about as sweet as a lemon, very hard bitten! He would kill on Larry King, and at least ask some tough questions of the self promoters that go on the show!
