Dr. Conrad Murray Can Still Practice Medicine!

| Filed under: Legal MattersMichael Jackson

We don't know who in their right mind would want his services, but he can still be a doctor in the eyes of the law.

This afternoon, a judge ruled in favor of allowing Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's physician at the time of death, to continue to practice medicine.

Even though this is the fourth time the office of California's attorney general has tried to get Conrad suspended, the judge refused to revoke the decision made by the last judge to hear the case:

"I don't have ability to revisit the actions of one of my colleagues. I do not have jurisdiction to revisit this matter. It doesn't have anything to do with how I feel or what I think. It has to do with the law and this court's ability to follow the law."

Don't get too pissed though. He still has to stand trial for the criminal charges against him. His medical license won't do him any good behind bars!

Just think of it that way!

my thoughts exactly. No one in their right mind would be a patient of his.

I hate Doctor Murrey he murdered Michael jackson for money and left his poor 12 year old son to see his father die, this man is Evil and you fuckin americans suck for letting him walk free knowing what he has done, your country caused the King Of Pop so much pain and heart ache when he was alive with false allegations and judgment , and now with this unjustified death you won't even allow him to rest in peace! I pray that you will do the right thing lock this fucker away , The Whole world hated you Murrey The Murderer

As you well know, CA justice is *no* justice at all. Everyone connected to anyone famous gets a slap on the wrist only…very few exceptions.

This may sound strange, but I feel as though he's being used as a scapegoat. Yes I would consider him an enabler but I think that a lot of the responsibility has to lay on Michael Jackson himself. We are the only people responsible for what goes into our body. If we understand all inherent risks to our actions and choose to ignore the advice of professionals and continue to make demands we have to accept responsibility for those actions. I definitely don't think the doctor should be charged with the death of Michael Jackson, however I do believe he should lose his medical license for enabling him and continuing to prescribe to him.

why do I get the feeling he's going to get away with everything?….shoot me

  6. 6

that sucks, hopefully he'll be conivted and then lose his license.

  7. 7

I CAN'T wait for him to be behind bars!

  8. 8

I bet he won't go to jail. He was merely a pawn in the MJ murder.

Re: Em….. – He took a hippocratic oath as a doctor and he broke his. I don't care who told him to give those drugs he has an obligation to say NO. If we just went around telling our doctors to give us medicine we don't need and can harm us then what is the point of a doctor? He had no right to give MJ these drugs b/c he doesn't even have the license to administer these drugs. If he did that would be a different story but he didn't. Plus this is not the first complaint filed against him. So he will have his day and court and that will be the end of it.

This absolutely floors me, Michael was handcuffed and escorted into the courtroom by multiple officers, publicly humiliated for charges that were BS to say the very least yet Murray who negligently took a life gets to walk in the courtroom with a few officers, gets to keep his license and gets a slap on the wrist. There are SO many things wrong with this that I'm speechless. Beyond despicable..

  11. 11

He should practice on Joran Van Der Sloot.

  12. 12

Obviously The Hippocratic Oath doesn't even pertain to Murray but I do have to say that after today's proceedings, their must be something else to this awful story. I never wanted to believe that their are other things going on behind the scenes of this case but I have concluded that indeed something ain't right. Justice4Michael.

HOW can someone like HIM STILL have his license??
he's a doctor, he's supposed to make smart decisions about people's LIVES/health! clearly he didn't.

    Re: Em….. – agreed.

Re: babyboy4 – I really wish people like you would stop blaming my country for the pain Michael endured during his life. I am an AMERICAN and I love Michael just like you and have never said or done anything that would have caused Michael any pain so I really am tired of being placed in a category of hate just because I'm American. America is not the only country who hurt Michael so please let this one go already. It is very annoying. BTW Michael did love everyone from every part of the world but you do realize that he was American as well right? His kids are American, his family are Americans and he lived in America so you must not like that part of Michael then huh?

Re: Em….. – I respect your opinion but at the end of the day the Hippocratic Oath no matter what a patient ask for always is to be upheld by the practicing doctor. One of the first lines from this oath states..
"I will not give a lethal drug to anyone if I am asked, nor will I advise such a plan."
It doesn't matter what the patient ask for. It is that doctors responsibility to keep that patient safe at any cost. If I were to go to my dr. and ask him for some meds. that are deadly/I don't really need but he gives them to me anyway and I take them and due to that wind up dead do you think people will say "Well she knew the consequences, but she took it anyway so it's partly her fault?" I highly doubt that, that question would be brought up if I were to pass away so why is it any different with Michael?

  16. 16

this is just too crazy now…
i mean michaels death has been ruled as a homicide and this doc can still go about his normal buisness??!!
none of this makes sense to me and im beginning to feel the same as "canadian bacon"…. the way things are going i can see him getting away with everything!!

hes not a murderer just imagine how much pressure it is for mj begging you to give him medicine he must have come up with some good reasons why he needed them its not his fault mj would have most probaly got them from another doctor anways hes such a caring man he helped sooo many people throughout his life money wasnt a big deal for him he was also caring my moms friend had him as a doctor its sooooo sad
    hes a great doctor xd

Re: kirstyjuri – "its not his fault mj would have most probaly got them from another doctor."

And if this had been the case and this other doctor would have done the same foolish thing that Murray would have done, then that other doctor would have been in the same boat. I don't care how "nice" of a person he might be or how "good" of a doctor he is or was to his other patients, the fact is that with this patient; Michael Jackson, he acted very negligently and that is why he should be held accountable for his actions. He know's he did wrong and that's why he was trying to cover his tracks that day. Heck if the price was right for your mom's friend I'm sure he would have given him/her the same treatment. "Anything for the money." For instance.. if a surgeon botched a surgery and b/c of that someone lost their life. Would you say "Oh but he was nice and was a good surgeon." and intern expect for that surgeon to get a slap on the wrist? That's not how it works. Well that's not how it's supposed to work. More then likely that surgeon's work would be carefully looked at to see if the botch could have been easily noticed and depending on the circumstances that surgeon might not ever be a surgeon again. His rights would be taken away b/c some mistakes can't be taken back. Murray's mistake without a doubt can't be taken back so he deserves the same punishment as any other person of his profession who makes such a mistake.

Re: kirstyjuri – A child can beg their parent for a gun for Christmas but that doesn't mean Mommy or Daddy should run out and get it. BTW I'm not trying to knock you but sometimes I think people forget to look at other scenarios that are pretty much the same but just involve different people. I don't hate Murray. I could never feel hate for another man and I'm sure Michael forgives him but I do believe that his judgement was extremely clouded and he should be held responsible for his part and so should any other unknown people involved.

He's a Freemason, he can. Sick world.

  23. 23

I'll tell ya who'll want him as a doc, crack addicts and suicidal ppl! "Doctor? Can I get more pills? I wanna die! Just like MJ!"

What a great example to use to explain to people exactly why Murray is at fault!!! well done ;)
