This was one of my most favorite movies when I was a kid! I don't care how well they redo this, it will not touch the original…..and yes, why the hell can nobody come up with new material? What is the problem? I seriously could write a better movie than any of the new shit I have seen in the past few years. It's getting really bad

this is one of my all-time FAVORITE MOVIES! i loved it as a kid and to this day I watch it all the time! I would go see the remake but I already know it would not be near as good as the original… i like "HotMommy"s idea of having Christina as the mom!

Do you even know what decades you lived in? This movie was from the 90's. 1991 to be exact. This is like the 3rd movie you claim to be an 80's remake that is actually from the 90's. Get it right because it DOES make a difference to the movie lovers who lived in those generations.
