Gwyneth Paltrow Has Bone Issues!

So her doctor told the fair-skinned gal to get her ass in the sun!

Gwyneth Paltrow was diagnosed with the onset of osteopenia, a condition with low bone mineral density so she was ordered by doctors to spend more time in the sun to boost her vitamin D levels.

Gwynnie says:

"I suffered a pretty severe Tibial plateau fracture a few years ago (requiring surgery) which lead the orthopaedic surgeon to give me a bone scan, at which point it was discovered I had the beginning stages of osteopenia.

"This led my western/eastern doctors in New York to test my Vitamin D levels, which turned out to be the lowest they had ever seen, not a good thing. I went on a prescription strength level of Vitamin D and was told to spend a bit of time in the sun! I was curious if this was safe, having been told for years to stay away from its dangerous rays, not to mention a tad bit confused."

But after following the doc's advice she was able to reverse her vitamin D deficiency — and she probably got a sweet little tan to boot!

    Dear spoiled rotten bitch -

my sister had rods put in her back when she was 10 and could have been paralyzed. STFU. my sister still has the scar and does not have the little privileged life that you have had to have scar removal surgery. Once again STFU!!!!!!!!!

Well, give the dog a bone !! She's one of those righteous know-it-alls, with her new-age diets, and this and that … and she's soon going to develop a nice hunch back. Makes me feel rather good for some strange reason knowing that she's one of the first victims of that over-priced, celebrity-backed health craze.
    She should sue herself !!!

  3. fiona says – reply to this

So much for macrobioitic diets, interspersed with excessive exercise, fried chicken, and motherhood.

    Her poor bones are done.

  4. 4

She is a warning, not a role model, kiddies! Be sure to drink a few glasses of pastuerised cow's milk EVERY day, don't go on 'fasts' or 'cleanses', don't stick your fingers down your throats, and don't tweet about diets and foods until you become a registered dietitian!

  5. 5

…She is a major BONE-HEAD…Does this COUNT FOR anything ?

  6. 6

lowest theyd ever seen…just how much out of proportion has they story been blown?

  7. 7

Re: ShoeWhore – LoL ! I bet she will, or probably the poor saps who have been 'advising' her re her dietary needs ! Either way, DEM BONES ain't good !

  8. 8

Can anyone EVER feel sorry for this poor little BITCH girl … ?

Re: ShoeWhoreRe: fiona – You two are really stupid. One more stupid than the next. Dumb and Dumber. Osteopenia doesn't mean she will develop a hunch back and it doesn't mean her bones are "done". It means her bone density is lower than the bone density of a 25 year old. Many women over 30 have low bone density since your bones start to deteriorate after the age of about 25. By the age of 50, about HALF of women have osteoporosis (which is worse than osteopenia). It doesn't mean you will develop a hunchback though. There are a lot of other factors involved. But again, if Gwynnie maintains her bone density she can have better bones than either of you dumb bitches. There's a whole science behind it…and you think you can just summarize it in a few dumb words? You both are are just so dumb, it's unreal. Especially idiot shoe whore. She has said so many dumbass things…I wonder how she can live every day without seriously hurting herself. SMH. Such dumb, jealous bitches. It's sad, really.

Re: litnight – Actually, cow's milk is not absorbed well by the body and many people believe it actually LEACHES calcium from the body. So stop advising the "kiddies" to follow your idiot advice. You don't know what you are talking about.
Americans drink the most milk of any nation in the world and have the highest rate of osteoporosis in the world as well. So many uneducated idiots. So sad.

  11. 11

Re: litnight – AMEN ! These so-called 'celebrities' jump on the latest (expensive) fad, and then preach them to us, the little people. They are all such suckers ! ! This one, she is a little snot-nosed know it all !

  12. 12

Re: My black circumcised baby! – Lemme guess … you quickly plugged in some terms in 'Google Scholar', (but not in Google Scholar - Advanced … because you'd need to at least know what you're looking for …).
But if you actually read what I wrote, I never mentioned anything about anything … other than she's going to get a hunch back ( and unless you're equipped with a crystal ball and you know she won't … when you're meds dissipate and you're all delusional again …) … you shouldn't offer any advice, actually. I suggest you should be worrying about whether to pay your internet bill or re-fill your meds prescriptions.

  13. 13

I have osteopenia too! Although mine was induced by Ciprofloxin. NEVER TAKE CIPRO! IT IS POISON!

  14. 14

Too damn funny. I was getting sick of hearing about her macrobiotic diet every five minutes. Maybe she'll finally put two-and-two together and realize that real food is a good thing.

  15. 15

Re: Be-Atch – Gwyneth Paltrow charges how much for her new-age gym/diet regimen ? Hehehee, and TEE HEE … well, if anything, she could launch a whole new designer line for hunch-back 'hip' women … you know, be pro-active and a little ahead of her time and sock a few extra buck$ away. NEAT !!!

  16. 16

Re: jham – Where does the article say anything about scar removal surgery?

  17. 17

Who else is tired of this spoiled, priveledged know it all who thinks we can all learn something from her? Get over yourself already. She must be such a joy to live with. Coldplay was such a good band before she came along and ruined it..sucked the life right out of it..

  18. 18

Re: My black circumcised baby! – Sorry but I have to correct you here. Although you are right that osteopenia is less severe than osteoporosis, she will probably never have better bones than "those dumb bitches" since it's difficult to deposit Ca in your bones after your 20s. And milk does not leach calcium from your bones. The reason Americans consume more milk than most other nations is because almost everyone who is not from European descent never developed lactase, making them lactose intolerant. And we have higher rates of osteoporosis because we eat less of other healthy foods that are high in calcium like green leafy vegetables, tofu, etc AND because we have the highest consumption of soda, which is very high is phosphorus which DOES leach calcium from bones. So until you go to school for 6 years to become a registered dietitian like I have, stop spouting off ridiculous advice over the internet for other "uneducated idiots" to read. So sad.

  19. 19

Re: ShoeWhore – LOL! "When your meds dissipate…"!

  20. 20

boo hoo, my levels are low too. I am lactose intolerant and do to meds for other problems, I can not stay out in the sun. BUT me, I don't get a syndrome, I get a bunch of vitamin d with a warning and lots of blood tests. gwyneth, she whines.

  21. 21

Re: Savannah84 – LMAO "registered dietician" … what a dumb bimbo career that is….for a dumb bimbo like yourself. And yes, she will have better bones than those dumb bitches in about….20 years time. Since everyone loses bone density as they grow older. But not everyone loses at the same rate. Sigh, but you are too dumb to realize what I meant, aren't you? Even though I pretty much spelled it out for you. Oh and although it's "difficult" to depost calcium in bones it's not at all impossible as my trainer trains a woman in her 60s who gained enough calcium in her bones such that she no longer has oteoporosis (but rather is back down to osteopenia). But of course this woman consulted with DOCTORS and not bimbo "registered dieticians" (LMAO!). I'm sorry…I mean good for you that you are doing something with your life and all…but 6 years for such a bimbo career? What are you, slow? A regular Bachelor's is 3 years…4 max…and it took you 6? Oy vey.

  22. 22

Re: ShoeWhore – LOL Google Scholar. Still rankled that I had to educate you about that, huh? I actually said what I did from general knowledge. Plus I have a personal trainer and every time we train he educates me on stuff relating to health. Plus I have doctor friends who talk about this stuff too…off and on. So it's just accumulated knowledge. But you're right, I don't know she WON'T develop a hunchback….just like you don't know she WILL. I mean you don't even know where her lack of calcium is. It may not be in her upper back. It may not be in her back at all. It may be in her hips. Yet you talk out of your ass. I dislike Gwynnie too, but to insult her for something that MOST women will face in their lifetime is sad. Especially coming from a woman. That is all. I guess I shouldn't call you stupid but you make a hell of a lot of generalizations which sounds rather naive and stupid TBH.

  23. 23

Re: My black circumcised baby! – Who are you fooling? You live in a trailer! Personal trainer, doctor friends, LMAO!!!

  24. 24

I hope she continuse to stay out of the sun. Please stay in England out of the sun.

She also has brainpenia and there is no cure for that Boo whooo.

I don't care to hear anything about this Bi-otch. Please no more reporting on her blood counts or daily bowel movements, it is simply not news worthy.

  25. 25

She seems a tad bit affected with herself, doesn't she?

    Re: My black circumcised baby!

    Hey you kook!
I was using a metaphor, not stating science.

Now go back to your comment reviews…

  27. 27

Re: Savannah84 – Just to add, here in Canada, you can go to College to become a "registered dietician"…you don't even need to go to Uni. And in Montreal, where I am from, you can even go to C.E.G.E.P which is like the higher grades of High School in the States. You see what I am trying to say? It's a fucking bimbo career and it took you 6 years? No wonder you understand little. And just an FYI, there is a LOT of controversy about cow milk. A lot of people believe that humans are not made to drink cow's milk and that it has deleterious health consequences. Many people don't absorb calcium and it has nothing to do with drinking soda or lactase. Calcium from milk is just generally poorly absorbed, period.
A lot of developing countries have almost nonexistant rates of osteoporosis and they drink NO MILK. But I'm done explaining things to a bimbo. As I said before, it's much more complicated than you can even imagine. It's a complex interplay of pigmentation (fair-skinned people and Asians are at much higher risk), weight (underweight people are at higher risk), exercise, and the right mineral balance in the body (vitamin D, managanese, strontium, etc, etc.) Your textbooks are out of date, sweetie. That's why "registered dieticians" are not the ones to consult for this. It's a bimbo career.

  28. 28

Re: barbados789 – LOL you dumb Bajan bitch. My personal trainer and doctor friends all live in the trailer park with me! Now go back to smoking the Ganja and being jealous of whites, m'kay?

  29. 29

Re: fiona – My apologies then. Mea Culpa.

  30. 30

She has all these health regimes, so why do she look so unhealthy all the time?

  31. 31

I wonder if that's why Gwyneth is pissed at Madonna … they probably traded herbs or whatnot, Gwyneth gave her something for her zombie octogenarian hands to make them less scary for her kiddies when she goes to pick them up … and Madonna gave Gwyneth something to give to her husband, so that they'd make shittier music, and Madonna's stuff would somehow displace Coldplay's stuff on the charts, and it didn't work … and all she got out of it was a potential HUNCH BACK, albeit with offers to play the new HUNCH BACK OF NOTRE DAME remake.
I'd be pissed at Madonna, too !!!

  32. 32

Re: My black circumcised baby! – OMG are you stupid! Every time you post you show yourself to be nothing but white trash! From Montreal? You should have more class!

  33. 33

    maybe she should EAT SOMETHING!

  34. 34

No one wants to hear about Old Lady Paltrow's health problems. Next time she gets gas, I hope she doesn't feel compelled to report it to the media.

  35. 35

I did read a study somewhere that in recent years children were more prone to vitamin D deficiency because of the increasing use of sunscreen. Can't win no matter what you do! lol

  36. 36

Re: My black circumcised baby! – your nickname is "my black circumsized baby".

  37. 37

That's not the only issuse she has.

  38. 38

Oh Please, she is so full of herself. Isn't she on some funky diet like macrobiotics or something? It would probably also help your bone strength if she got off her high horse and did something herself. Ugh, I can't stand this snotty bitch. She take Madonna with her too.

  39. 39

She's also a smoker. Smokers have poor bone density. And add to the fact that she eats a microbiotic diet. Look what being thin has gotten you? Now you really will snap in half. I hate her self-righteous, shallow, pale bony ass! Why won't she just go away!!

  40. 40

    LOl, "its dangerous rays".

It's the sun, bitch! Not a radioactive….ray…thing. All you gotta do for a healthy life is drink lots of water, get enough sleep, get enough exercise and eat right occassionally. The hell with these new age diets.

  41. 41

Aw I feel sorry for her and I hope to GOD she's not getting health advice from people who comment on here. Hunch backs? Rods? Pasteurized milk? WTF?!

I'm sure her doctor maybe, just possibly actually talked to her about her options. And if the Doctor JUST ordered more vitamin D, then it's probably an issue absorbing the calcium she is already getting in her diet. But vitamin D, calcium and some high-impact exercise like running or jump-rose should help her stop further any further loss of bone density. It's just Ostopenia not a death sentence!!! Oh - and there are also once-a-month vitamin D tablets that can be prescribed. She doesn't need sun damage :)

  42. 42

Tan and get skin cancer. Stay in the shade and get osteopenia. I'm in the same boat.

  43. 43

She eats nothing but grass and sticks and now has a vitamin deficiency. - boo fucking hoo. I bet she has a dump about once a month. This is entirely your own fault Gwenyth. As for these "dangerous rays" - loooooool calm down bb it aint the death star.. I've been tanning for 800 years and i don't look a day over 25.

    Judge J

  44. 44

Well I wish cancer on her too.

  45. 45

    Re: My black circumcised baby!
    Re: My black circumcised baby!

    Did you graduate high school?

  46. 46

She definitely needs some sun and so does her super white pal Madonna. A healthy glow from the sun makes everyone look great.

  47. 47

You only need 10 minutes a day in the sun to get all the Vitamin D your body needs.

  48. 48

That's what happens when your diet consists of stupid and extreme fasts, followed by trendy macrobiotic diets. She has no business dishing out advice and food and diet.

  49. 49

you're such a tool Mario commenting on someones personal health issues, worry about your own fat ass douche bag

  50. 50

Re. My Black Circumcised Baby; It must be exhausting living the life of a super-genius, trying to teach all of the little people below the 'truth' about EVERYTHING! I bet you get invited to LOTS of parties…

  51. 51

Lack of food - high protein diet i.e. starving yourself! etc. - all to blame for this crap - wait til posh piggy nose spice gets older she'll be as bent as an s-hook

  52. 52

Well look what your oh so perfect lifestyle got you?? Hope this is a wake up call to all the other walking skeletons out there.

  53. 53

Re: My black circumcised baby! – A bimbo career? She kicked your ass and this is what you come back? Just what is it that YOU do that is oh-so-wonderful?

  54. 54

Re: jham – Chill out will you ? It's not Gwyneth's fault you moron !!!

  55. ca says – reply to this

Of course she can't just have low vitamin D — it has to be "lowest that her doctors have ever seen." Because when you're a celebrity, you're so starved for attention you can't just can't go a day without attributing some sort of superlative to yourself. God, she's so fucking annoying. I wish her bones would just turn to powder and a big wind would come and blow her annoying, whining, twat into the atmosphere.
