The Cause Of Ted Koppel's Son's Death

The son of Ted Koppel died from a lethal combination of drugs and alcohol and has been ruled as "accidental," according to the New York City medical examiner's office.
Andrew Koppel had been out drinking with another man at NYC's Smith's Bar & Restaurant and was then found dead dead in a seedy apartment owned by friend Belinda Caban.
According to the report, he had died from an “acute intoxication due to combined effects of ethanol (liquor), heroin, cocaine, diazepam (Valium) and levamisole.”
Koppel was a student at Georgetown Law School and left behind a baby daughter.
Sad.

So much money with nothing else to do!
no shock. what about all the non-famous people that die everyday from the same addictions?
Thats crazy he was a law student doing all those drugs.
Poor man.
Having to outlive and bury your son.
I feel his pain.
Get the facts straight, please! Drew graduated from Georgetown Law in the mid-1990s! He recently turned 40 years old and was a professor at John Jay College (CUNY) in Manhattan when he died. He also leaves behind a beautiful, very pregnant fiancée.
I'm sorry for the pain the Koppel family must be experiencing. Very sad.
Just sad. RIP and prayers to his family.
sad. very sad.
Ted had paid GAZILLIONS for his son's dozens of 12-Step Religious Cult treatment programs; every one of them failed him. The "HIGHER POWER" is a fraud & scam!
The 12-Step Religious Cult IS NOT FREE, it's a multi-billion dollar industry!
RIP!
Got drugs?
hunh - never heard of levamisole, so I looked it up. I don't do coke, so I didn't know it was used to "cut" cocaine and sometimes heroin. I guess that solves that question for me. There is some really interesting research out on the internet for anyone who might be interested.
selfish
That was not an "accidental" death - that was a SUICIDE. Still sad though.
what is better than dead? DEAD DEAD!!!
