Jimmy Kimmel Loses Power - Literally!
This seems to happen more often than it should!
Last night, while Jimmy Kimmel was just about to start taping his late show, there was a power outage in the building and the whole place went dark! All the cameras, lights and equipment were rendered useless, so Jimmy had to get creative.
By the light of his MacBook, Jimmy recorded the entire show via his webcam. His guests Seth Rogen, Wipeout's John Henson and country singer Dierks Bentley were really good sports and the rest of the show went on without any problems.
If you are interested, the show will air tonight. Bet it will be mildly HIGHlarious!

I love this. Thanks so much for sharing. In a world that often seems stuck on trashing celebrities failures, it's so awesome to see someone applauding true creativity in the face of what could otherwise be undesired circumstances. Kudos to Jimmy Kimmel and kudos to you for the heads up.

Re: April 20th – Sometimes generators fail as well. I work in a place that has generators and it's happened more than once.

Jimmy was on the Bonnie Hunt show recently when the power went out there. He razzed her saying that in HIS show they PAY the power bills….
