No Glee Movie…Yet

Yesterday, we told you that along with two more season's of the hit TV Show, the kids of Glee are contractually obligated to star in big screen adaptations of the musical smash.

So will we be seeing a Glee movie anytime soon?

No.

Creator Ryan Murphy assured fans that the studio and his team are hard at work on the second season and haven't considered a movie…as of yet. The words he used were "no Glee movie in the foreseeable future."

But that's not a never!

Personally, we want another season of the show, another BIGGER concert tour and then they can start thinking about a movie.

What do U think?

To people who think Christina A. is stealing Lady CACA's style is completely wrong. In Christina's biography movie or thing (i forgot what you call them), she said (way before lady caca even existed) that she was going to create an album that is completely different than what anyone has seen, and it will also be futuristic. So get your "Christina is jealous and is biting lada caca's style" straight.

Glee is not ready for a movie. They haven't done well on interviews, they couldn't carry a film.

I'm telling you right now, this wouldn't be a good idea at all. Glee needs to preserve itself and not just become another sellout show like American Idol. If they become over saturated the quality will suffer majorly not to mention these kids work so hard it would be wrong to force them to do a tour, movie, AND one hour television show complete with choreography and recordings one right after the other. Casts with such demand break under that sort of pressure. Shame on you, Perez, for suggesting they do another tour, that's a STUPID idea, they work 19 hour work days and they should be taking time off to rest and rejuvenate and not just feed the machine.

thank goodness! I LOVE glee. who cares if i graduated high school 13 years ago, i still love it. I would feel a little awkward at a concert or even in a theater watching it though. We don't have kids yet, so can't use them as an excuse. I'd feel way too old. anyways, if they make a movie, its just going to get SO played out real quick!

At least not for a long time or Glee will be just like HSM and it's only matter of time till we see Glee stationery everywhere.
      Please, just don't.

ummm Save the movie for when they're no longer relevant. No point in making one now, they don't need to.

There are already three high school musicals. Do we really need another teener booper musical movie? The show is actually not that bad in small amounts. But turning it into a feature length film is a different story. The actors are all good on tv but i couldnt imagine half of them on the big screen. It would be a very mediocre film.
