Seinfeld Blasts GaGa!
Almost two weeks after Lady GaGa ended up in his box at the Mets game, Jerry Seinfeld has something to say about the pop star.
In a new interview this week, he said:
"This woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can't believe they put her in my box, which I paid for.
You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we're living in now?
I wish her the best. You take one 'A' off of that and you've got gag."
I don't know what these young people think or how they promote their careers. I'm older, I'm 56. I look at Lady Gaga the way Keith Hernandez watches these kids when they pull the pocket out, they wear the inside-out pocket. … Do you think he understands that? He can't understand that. That's a new game, that's kids.
I'm not one of these all-publicity-is-good people. People talk about you need exposure — you could die of exposure."

Ughh I'm so SICK of Lady Gaga!! I absolutely agree with Jerry, the fact that Lady Gaga is the new standard these days is nauseating. What kind of a world do we live in that a black bra and panties paired with sports jersey (not to mention all the other racy ensembles she wears) are considered acceptable attire for addressing the public? I'm all for embracing yourself as a woman, but there IS a way to do that while STILL maintaining class and dignity. Sex shouldn't be be a sales pitch.
Also, note to Perez.. Your site is becoming increasingly irritating. Gaga is every second post (the world does not revolve around her - not even the musical world does), you seem to have an obsession with sex tapes and nude photos - eww, you still have celebrity children all over your blog (despite your vow to stop doing so), you seem to get off watching Hollywood stars and starlets get eaten alive by fame, you viciously rip apart any and every celebrity you feel you can sink your teeth into (is there ANYONE you actually like, aside from your precious Gaga), and last, but certainly not least, you seem to have an obsession with bashing "fame whoring," when in actuality your nothing but a shameless self promoter yourself, hoping to make it to the top of the celebrity food chain by using others as a step ladder. I have to say that even after going to her concert in January, I'm a little shocked by her apparent behavior at the baseball game. Either she was extremely stressed and overreacted to opposition, or maybe "the fame" is turning her into a "fame monster." I just hope she calms it down some. Acting that way at 24 is less than I expected of her. I do think that Jerry Seinfeld has become a bit of a rich jerk, but I see his point. When so many younger celebrities act out like this, it makes the more reserved ones–like Alicia Keys–stand out more, in my book.
