What's He Saying Now? This D-Lister Has Never Gotten So Much Press Before

| Filed under: DrugsLegal MattersZ List

And for such a crazy story!

Jeremy London has been speaking up about his supposed kidnapping in Palm Springs where he was forced to do drugs. He says:

"It's been an absolute nightmare. This actually did happen to me. It was one of the worst days of my life… I thought I was going to die. Thank God I made it out alive."

But not everyone is buying this story — namely his own family! His twin brother Jason says, "We love Jeremy very, very much…but he's lost."

But Jeremy is sticking to his story, adding:

"The worst part of this has been my family. We've had to put a cease and desist order on them and now I'm going to have to have a restraining order put on them. They went on TV and told a bunch of lies saying this [the kidnapping] never happened. I haven't seen them in six months… they have no idea what's going on."

As for Jeremy's wife Melissa, she seems to think this kind of thing happens all the time saying, "Police told us this is the new thing to do down here… rob people at gunpoint and make them do drugs so they won't be reliable witnesses. It's happening more and more."

The Palm Springs Police response?

"We have not had a rash of them — they are not commonplace here in Palm Springs."

We still thing these two are trying to cover up their drug use!

What do U think?

The "hood" in Palm Springs is called Cathedral City. There are also several skeevy parts of PS itself. Or you could be talking about cities east like Indio and Coachella and Thermal… No one who lives there is wondering where the bad neighborhoods are. Only people who don't live there and want to be snarky ask where the hood is in that area.

I'm in law enforcement and this shit happens all the time. People on Meth or Crack will snatch someone off the street force them to buy a bunch of crap with there credit card (that they will later try to sell, trade or return) and then they will take the person to the bank each day and have them empty there ATM card.

I'd really be shocked if Jeremy London was lying.

Re: Emmers4eva – Gotta agree with all those skanky towns. I lived in Palm Desert and I would never want to go to "Cat City" or those other towns. But this guy is a douche. Come on, he's a druggie!

Re: BigBri1978 – AND have him smoke up their drugs? I still think this is bull shit.

At least HE is famous, D-list or not, for a legitimate reason Mario.

About half the time they have you use drugs… Other times they beat the crap out of you. By making him use drugs they'll try and claim they didnt abduct him that he went along on his own and had a bad trip. Also by having the person use drugs his credability is somewhat tainted, his memory isnt as sharp, and cops are unlikely to beleave the story. Also having your victim High makes it easy for them to control and less likely they escape. The fact that London went to the cops and someone was arrested makes me beleave his story.

BTW these cases are fairly easy to prove… Because most of the time there is video evidence of the victum and perp in a liqour store / gas station buying a bunch of crap or at the ATM machine together.

Re: ilovemydog – Absolutely. I was responding to the first comment that acted like there were no rough neighborhoods in PS. Being in a bad neighborhood in that area is not what is fishy about the situation.

douseekamy, you need to think like a druggie…. If you snatch someone off the street you get all the money that they have, plus there credit card, plus $300 from the ATM and the Credit Card will only last you a few hours. If you hold that person hostage you can run up that credit card and empty the ATM for the next few days.
A person on drugs can be easier to control. So yes they do share drugs.

These junkies needed an excuse to get out of their drug tests, and he probably owed his dealers money and they took his car as payment. Now he is trying to claim his car was stolen. What a loser. His lies are almost as bad as Dina Lohans. When will junkies like him and her realize that everybody can tell their full of crap?

    Re: BigBri1978

Yeah, but if that was really true they wouldn't have driven the wife home and let her get out of the car. Additionally, why didn't she call the police when they let her go? This story is as fake as Heidi Montags…well.. everything.

  16. 16

This story would be a lot less fishy if it didn't happen to a drug addict.

  17. 17

Drug addict kidnapped and forced to do drugs, lol

  18. 18

Let the law and court decide. The DA and police obviously thought there was enough evidence to arrest and charge them. And according to your artical the PS PD did not say it NEVER happens just that not a rash of it.

  19. 19

    He's a liar.

I don't see any reason why he would make this up randomly. It's not like he was arrested for something and gave this as an excuse. He voluntarily went to the police to report a crime. Why would you do that if you were infact an accomplice? That's like walking into a police station and saying "I didn't kill anyone" before the police even know there has been a murder.
