Somewhere in New York, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are calling emergency meetings with their writing staffs. It'll be a war to see who comes up with the best joke to mock this, well, JOKE!

CNN has just announced that a new roundtable show will go up in the fall, co-hosted by none other than the former governor of New York, Eliot Spitzer.

The political lover of payable poon will be pitted against conservative columnist Kathleen Parker in this new point-counterpoint show that is sure to bring the kind of ratings CNN was once used to, but has had to do without for the last few years. The network describes the show as a "spirited, nightly roundtable discussion program" that will be focused on the biggest stories of the day.

We'll stick to watching Sexy Sarah make a fool out of herself over on Fox News, thanks!

Will U tune in for this?

CNN is hitting pretty low these days…I didn't think they could go any lower than with Larry King, but they did!

  2. 2

So according to you, Spitzer lost all his talent, intelligence, and insight the very moment he had sex with the prostitute?

  3. 3

he has a face for radio

Orlane Anagenese 25+ pprevents aging that starts at age 25 using pro growth factors and crinopexy

This will be fantastic. Anyone that has seen Spitzer on Real Time With Bill Maher will agree that he is one of the most interesting, charasmatic & informed guests who plays very well in that panel format. Can't wait!!!

It's unfortunate that Eliot Spitzer is really only widely known for the prostitution thing. He's actually incredibly intelligent and has many meaningful, insightful things to say about the politics of the day. I think this is an excellent choice for CNN. And I'm also glad that they're able to look past the controversy to a man who is otherwise a talent worth having.

Sleep with someone and you get a job. Lie to the public and you get a job. CNN is hiring like they were FOX!

Right because Sarah really wants you watching her show lmao..you are an unbelievable moron

  9. 9

I'll bet they hire John Edwards next!

  10. 10

Stop watching that moron Sarah and the racist, ignorant, misinformed Fox news.. that's what they want and your buying into it. Spitzer is one of the most intelligent, articulate, and sensible politicians out there, regardless of his indescretions. I'm glad he's ideas now have a bigg platform and can't wait to watch him in action. NY went to crap once Patterson replaced Spitzer. Bring back Spitzer!

Re: AnnaBanana82 – CNN is not "able to look past the contoversy". Are you kidding me? The controversy is why they hired him, my dear naive AnnaBanana.

You clearly don't know that he has been hosting (subbing) on MSNBC for some time and is pretty good.

it has to be extremely embarrassing to be a democrat

If anyone else with the same felony crime on his records applied for a job at CNN they would get their CNN job application thrown in the garbage.

If film actors are playing broadway, it's no surprise to see a disgraced politician crossing over to media. These politician types will go where the biggest carrot is. Hopefully he can be a little more up front and forthcoming in his new position.

Personally I like neutral old school journalists who have the appearance of having no dog in that fight. We'll see soon enough how objective Mr. Spitzer proves to be in his new seat.

So what if he likes the hos? He's an intelligent, well spoken man with better ideas than half of congress. I'd rather see men in office who blow off steam like old Elliot instead of warmongering. A good blowjob cures lots of ills, ask Bill Clinton, lol.

eliot spitzer actually seems intelligent and knows his stuff. just because he had sex with a prostitute doesn't make it laughable that he is getting on with his life after he was murdered in the press. give the guy a break.

  21. 21

    Barf!

  22. 22

will he be doing live hooker reviews?

Re: Loewenstein – he isn't an idiot but he is a cheap whore.
    Not to his credit .
