    Hey!!…that's pretty COOL!

  2. 2

    They're a bunch of freaks.

  3. 3

What state is it cool in? Seriously it's not cool in any state so why would you think Texas/Houston is to blame?

  4. 4

Tsk Tsk, Mario for (once again) generalizing when it isn't warranted. Why does Texas have to take the fall for an obviously sick human being that decided to target this person? Why not call it what it is…a hate crime that happened to take place in Houston? Yes it sucks…but to address Texas and not the a-hole who committed the crime is just ignorant.

  5. 5

You need a beating Perez, not this poor guy

  6. 6

I agree that the attack isn't cool but why must you indict an entire city or state by the actions of one individual? Maybe the attacker was an illegal alien or a closeted gay. Did you ever think about that? If you don't want people making blanket statements about gay people then stop making blanket statements yourself. Hungry, hungry hypocrite.

  7. 7

Ok the state of Texas did not commit this hate crime. Some stupid lone dick head at a community college committed this hate crime you f*cking jerk.

  8. 8

Stop attacking Houston and Texas. Sheesh, Houston is hardly a mecca for queer bashers. Our lesbian mayor is leading our gay pride parade this weekend, and that was with the majority vote of this awesome, accepting city. HCC is in a bad part of town, I used to go there. It wasn't cool what happened, but if it were a hate crime they wouldn't have grabbed his wallet and left. They would have spent more time beating the shit out of him and calling him names. It was a crime of opportunity. I've been robbed several times here, but we call it a crime of opportunity, not a crime of gender or race or whatever.

  9. 9

im confused….hes transgedered and gay…does that mean he likes guys? or he was just born female had corrective surgery and is now a male who likes females?

  10. 10

yeah like its our states fault. come here to austin, it would be respected and even embraced.

  11. 11

Stop defending your hick infested corrupt state..Texas ALWAYS has stories like this coming out.

  12. 12

wtf?! how is this Houston's fault or Texas?! There are sick people everywhere so get the fuck over it and stop blaming an entire state for one persons actions.

  13. 13

I second everyone else's comments… horrible crime but NOT Houston OR Texas' fault… bad choice of words, Perez.

  14. 14

NookiesWA you are an idiot. Houston has an OPENLY GAY mayor. I hate when people talk bad about Texas. Have you ever even been here? Like others have said the STATE didn't beat the guy up.

  15. 15

Poor, dude. If he was born a girl, he definitely needed to be a guy.
But, is it really necessary to blame a whole state or city for the actions of one man?
Seriously, when you (or your ghost writers) pull that shit it just makes you look like you lack intelligence or rational judgement, and then makes people not take you serious. If you are truly passionate about a topic, don't jeopardize it's impact by coming across as someone who is out of touch with reality.

  16. 16

You're seriously blaming the whole state because of what one guy did? Unfortunately you're most likely going to find atleast one of these assholes in every state and province, so I guess we should just blame the world…sigh

  17. 17

Re: NookiesWA – wow your a joke!

  18. 18

    That's horrible. =(

  19. 19

Re: NookiesWA – both you and Perez are asses! You have no idea what you are talking about. Houston has a large openly gay community and this city is very welcoming towards them.

  20. 20

Thank you all for defending my home state. We're not at fault any more than Califormia is at fault for Perez!

  21. 21

Sounds like a mugging to me and someone trying to get fame by sensationalizing it to make it into a hate crime just because it is transgender. Really who cares what sex it is no one should be mugged and beaten with a razor.

  22. 22

No one should be surprised that this happened…the ignorant, toothless trash hick-mecca known as Texas is on an all-out campaign to PROMOTE this kind of hate and intolerance and violence.
    They can't deny it.

  23. 23

Re: fairyocious – Mario must blame the entire state for one or two people. guess he keeps reading hillary clinton's 'It takes a village' . You know mario, you are a very sick individual and YOU ARE CAUSING MORE HATE THEN THESE SICK PEOPLE who do this type of disgusting type of crimes.

  24. 24

@ Jess… You are fucking ignorant. Here is something you may not know about Texans or Houston for that matter. Not all of us like country music and are not hicks/rednecks. Many of us are college educated individuals. We live normal lives, drive nice cars and achieved these things with our determination and hard work. Where are you from that you can make such a statement?

  25. 25

Uhhh, we have better things to do than beat people. Don't blame an entire state or city.. that is not cool.

  26. @v@ says – reply to this

    26

This guy LOOKS like a normal guy. I think the motive was just robbery, and the robber used the word queer as a generic slur simply to intimidate. The robber likely walks around calling everybody queer who he wants to feel more alpha to.
I think the fact that this male looking dude is transgender is merely coincidental.

  27. 27

Re: NookiesWARe: jess0062 – you guys are the ignorant ones. HOUSTON is the biggest city in the country to have an openly gay mayor, Annise Parker. She made the Times Most Influential List. Yes, in East Texas there are some racist pricks but that's not the majority of Texas and especially not the majority in Houston. This news isn't always coming out of Texas, it occurs in every single state. It is a nationwide problem and it won't be fixed with arrogant assholes like you around.

  28. 28

PEREZ! This is NOT houston… I was apart of Pride Idol this year, which was an amazing celebration of Gay Pride. This was one person and they should be punished, not Houston! Our Lesbian Mayor will be apart of the Pride Celebration.. along with Andy Cohen.. I think Houston is doing something RIGHT!

  29. 29

    Re: jess0062

You are a very ignorant person.

  30. 30

    Re: NookiesWA
You are also an idiot. I bet you've never even been to Texas.

  31. 31

So because one person beat up another the whole entire city is to blame? The problem is not Houston, Texas, or hell even America. The problem is the individuals that feel they have a right to attack another human being.

  32. 32

for being that ugly that fatty deserved it .. ha amirite? … I mean fix your ugly face 1st before you mutulate your body … amirite?

  33. 33

Re: hcoboy – . I guess she turned into a he to get his shit pushed in .. that person has MAJOR issues

  34. 34

Re: Laz Equality Estrada – you live in Texas?? I honestly feel bad for you

  35. 35

Re: brandyc – . You've been robbed several times?? Move out of the slums already you fool! .. amirite?

  36. 36

Perez! ONE guy does not an entire city make. I am a proud citizen of Houston - a city with a lovely, openly gay mayor, by the way - and I don't approve or appreciate or tolerate this one particular guy's behavior either. Please don't blame an entire city on this ONE idiot's behavior. Good lord! You're a smart guy…you know better.

  37. 37

Hey now.. please don't generalize this to all of Texas! It could happen anywhere.

  38. 38

Re: jess0062 – Seriously? First of all, I AM from Texas, and I'm neither ignorant nor toothless, though given your shameless and uneducated suggestions about my home state, I'm not sure that your ignorance can really be denied. And speaking of "intolerance", since when is it tolerant to bash someone because of where they come from? I mean, I only really have one question for you: Would you like to be the pot or the kettle?

    P.S. Perez,
Don't blame Texas because of one twit that didn't get enough whoopings as a kid. :)

  39. 39

Re: SpencerSucksCock – hey hey hey dont make me seem like a homophobe, im honestly confused….i understand both homosexuality, and transgendered people…but a homosexual transgendered person issue kinda has me at a loss, and im bi…..like she knew she was a guy on the inside who looks guys? i dont mean to be a douche but couldnt he have stayed a girl if hes homosexual

  40. 40

Re: jess0062 – Have you even been to Texas?? Where the hell do you live exactly??

  41. 41

    Shame!

  42. 42

This isn't Texas's fault. Just because you think Texas is one big gay-hating state doesn't mean its true. No need for generalizations.

  43. 43

I'm offended and I have lost respect for you Perez. This is very ignorant.

  44. 44

Well I am from Houston, Texas and I think this is fucking sick. I just recently took a class about sexuality taught by a transgender person and when they say that he is gay and transgender, it means he likes men because a straight F to M likes women. Now that may not be what they meant, but that is what it technically means.

  45. 45

I don't agree with treating people this way, but she shouldn't had been in the guys restroom

  46. 46

It has nothing to do with Houston Or the state of Texas!!!!!!!! There are idiots everywhere!!!!!!!!!
