So sad.

Watch Meredith Vieira interview Ryan O'Neal and Alana Stewart on the Today Show one year after Farrah Fawcett's tragic death from cancer.

On a positive note, it does sound like her son Redmond O'Neal is doing well and that's good to hear.

Rest in peace, Farrah.

Yeah, she's dead, not like there is any other way to rest. Resting in chaos??? Never heard of a dead person doing that.

i mean i'm sure she was a good person, but a year has passed and i dont really get why we are brining it up again. she wasnt michael jackson or someone huge like that so i'm sorry but she isnt really worthy of the hype.

Re: backstreetboysarethebest – WOW, hopefully people will say the same about you when you are death.

    What an idiot you are.

Re: backstreetboysarethebest – No she wasn't MJ the pedophile, only a nice women without scandal trying to raise a son while his father the jerk Ryan was undermining her teaching. What a phony that guy is.$$$$ thats all

Love Farrah…She's an American Icon…she will always be remembered…R.I.P.

RIP Farrah! Redmond good luck with your drug battle. Keep on being clean. That's what your mother would have wanted.

I went to college with Farrah at the University of Texas. How horrible for someone who was so vivacious and health oriented to die from such a painful and cruel disease. No, she wasn't Michael Jackson but she was an icon in her own right and should not be dismissed because someone more famous died 3 hours after she did.

Not like the Academy Awards remembered her but they sure remembered the hell out of Michael "Jesus Juice the Children" Jackson. What movies were he in? Moonwalker? The Wiz? Men in Black 2? Yeah, something to be remembered for….failure of the utmost.

Please don't help these desperate fame whores any more than they're already being helped. This fake mourning a year later is sickening.

Dizzyone: without scandal?!!! Are you kidding. Don't tell the poor guy that has domestic abuse on his record because she went to his house and smashed his windows! Without scandal? Her physical relationship with Ryan? Without scandal? Her son who's been in and out of rehad since he was 13?!

First of all, MJ wasn't a pedophile. Proven fact. Secondly, there's no need to compare Farrah to MJ. They were both great people who ironically passed on the same day. RIP to them both.

Re: alemeh2 – well i dont really expect people to do a youtube tribute to me a year after my death. all i'm saying is she doesnt really deserve the huge hype, no other celeb has tributes made to them a year after their death. of course i hope she rests in peace and i feel for her family but the media makes her out to be some huge celeb that she just wasnt.

Re: backstreetboysarethebest – You obviously are too young and were not around when Farrah was in her heyday. She was a huge celebrity. Regardless of your age, you know the media makes a big deal out of everything, especially when a celebrity dies years before the natural order of things.

    :( R.I.P.

Re: dizzyone – Wow. *facepalm* You really are "DIZZY".

Thank you for commemorating her death. All day it's been MJ, MJ, MJ.
This woman died of cancer and deserved a little bit more respect on the one year of her passing as well.
backstreetboys your an idiot and I hope the same is said of you when your gone. This woman was a good person, she died of cancer not by her own addictions and need for powerful sleeping aids. SFU you loser.

Poor Ryan…he needs the publicity so his public grieving is probably paying off…she left him out of her will so he'll whore himself as much as possible…his last "claim to fame". It's been a L-O-N-G time since his Rodney Harrington role on Peyton Place and the movie, Love Story…he peaked out way back then!!!
