Phew! Some good news!

Olympic gold medalist Scott Hamilton, who underwent brain surgery on Wednesday, is reportedly recovering and "doing great," according to his rep.

According to his people, the surgery was a success and the "priority" for Scott at this time is to "rest and recover so he can get home to his boys."

Wonderful! Glad to hear it!

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for you, Scott!

Poor Scott, he's had so many health problems; cancer, serious brain issues. I remember the day that I found out he was a heterosexual. It absolutely shocked me because I always assumed he was an effeminate gay ice skater. Heal quick, Scott!

    Aw, poor fella.
    He's had so many trials.
Prayers to you Scott, your wife and family.
Bought your book on how to get through tough times. It helped.

I remember when my daughter had to go through brain surgery, because of a tumor, when she was 16.
    A parents worst nightmare.
"Terrifying" doesn't quite express the level of panic, when they're wheeled away for the operation.
The tumor was as large as an orange. It was benign.

The worst part, they have to be awake during the operation, so the surgeon can talk with them, to see how much needs to be cut out.
She said the sound of the power saw was so loud, when cutting the scull open. YUCKO.

Our doctors are so wonderful in this country.
    They are so skilled.
I thank the medical community for saving my daughter and all who have been saved.
