Check out this amazing video of Oscar, the world's first bionic cat! Poor little guy lost his legs, but biomedical engineers were able to fit him with metal pegs coated with a bone growth-promoting substance that fused together the metal and bone.
As you can see from the video above, Oscar is able do everything now that all his other cat friends can!

Re: miss hot mess – uh….its not wasted on the cat, dummy. it isnt like a one time use only. Experimental things like this usually start with animals and then go on to be used in humans. So not only does it help this cat, but it also paves the way for this to be used by people.
