Twilight Author Is Sick Of Vampires
Stephenie Meyer, the Twilight author who introduced us to sparkly vampires, is now saying she's tired of the undead creatures.
In 2008, she stopped working on the fifth novel in the series, Midnight Sun, after her unfinished manuscript had been leaked online. Unfortunately for Twi-hards and lonely moms they have been waiting with bated breath for her to finish the companion novel.
But it doesn't look so good for fans as the author is now saying she's "burned out on vampires" and she most likely won't finish the novel anytime in the near future.
She says:
"I know that's what everyone cares about. I also know that the right answer would be for me to say 'Oh yah, it's done! And it'll be out next month!' But that's not true. It's also not true that I've got a ton of work done on it, and that's what I'm working on. What's true is that I'm really burned out on vampires. And, I don't want to write it badly. So I want to wait until I'm excited about the material again, and I'm excited about Edward, and that it's something that's motivating. You know, when a story is keeping me up at night, and I'm waking up at 4 am in the morning and thinking 'Yes! That is what should happen in this moment!' Then that is when I can write with happiness! So, right now it feels like homework … it really does. And when things feel like homework they go very, very slowly for me. That should disappoint everyone!"

Wow.. I just got a big insight to how shallow some people are. I also didnt realise there were so many perfect people in this world. I mean all you people who made negative remarks about her appearance must be sooo perfect otherwise you really wouldn't have the right to say anything. Or your just ugly people on the inside and out who need to grow up and get over the fact that someone isnt a size zero. Because Big Shock not everyone is slim.. But your all proabably too shallow and self obsessed with your own "perfections" to notice that. So I hope you all get told exactly how ugly you all are whether it be in looks or personality so you can know how it feels.
As for her writing, shes a very successfull novelsit, it can't be that crap if shes as rich and as successful as she is.. I mean are you all really that jealou and pathetic that someone made it, that you feel the need to make jibes about her. I think she has done wonders. I hope she keeps writing whether it be about Vampires or not.

I saw her interview in Oprah and I doubted she wrote those books. Ghost writer in scene, no doubt it. She sounded always a little bit stupid and hicky.

I can certainly see how she could be burned out. I mean aren't we ALL burned out on just hearing about this Twilight stuff? I keep wondering when we'll be able to move on to something else. When I go to Barnes & Noble and see a classic Jane Austen novel ripped off into a friggin Vampire theme I just want to strangle Stephanie Meyer for starting all of this crap in the first place. It's enough!! Teenage girls need to focus on something other than vampires. It's NOT romantic!!!
