Re: lifesaabeach – It's not Tobey's choice - they're doing a complete reboot and making Spidey loads younger. Which I don't understand, as I loved the Sam-Raimi-helmed Spidey-verse. Tobey was great and there was such wonderful filmmaking This is gonna suck out loud. They should've just let him continue instead of insisting on going this route.

My question is why the fuck are they rebooting the franchise when the last set of movies wasn't really dead in the first place. I don't think people are going to be interested in this. They should have done a Spider-Man movie that at least featured Toby Maguire passing the torch or something, so we could have the new movies tie into the last batch somehow.
