Elizabeth Edwards Giving Today Post Separation Interview

Elizabeth Edwards has granted the Today show her first TV interview since the separation from her husband of 30 years, John Edwards.
In the segment, which will air Thursday morning, Elizabeth is candid with Matt Lauer about her failed marriage. She even likens herself to Sandra Bullock.
She said:
"I think about Sandra Bullock … . And yet, the stories you hear are not about all those great successes, but about the failure of her marriage. … I thought that's not who she is. I don't know her but I assume she wants to reclaim who she is in the same way I want to reclaim who I am
I think he [John] changed over time. I think it was sort of hard for me to see it or admit it for a very long time. But he changed. … And he's no longer the person who I married. I still admire an enormous number of things about him."

This woman needs to get on with her life. This constant boo hoo, look at me, poor me act is getting old. She is not, will not be the only woman that her husband cheated on. She is also not the only Cancer striken wife that has gone thru this. Most people, that are not emotionally needy like her, go on with their lives, they don't re live the past. They don't constantly sling mud on their exes. The way I see it, with all her crying, her husband had enough reason to run as fast he could from her, she is a nag. Not to defend a cheating husband, something that Edwards is to the max, I don't see him going to the media to whine and whine and give meaningless interviews about the ups and downs of their private life together. Only she does, like a well trained gossipy woman with too much money and too much time on her hands. Go find something to do lady, pick up the pieces of your life, without telling the whole world, and make yourself a better one.

This woman has a lot of people fooled. She is a tyrant who abuses staff and friends for personal gain. She uses her cancer and the death of her son when it suits her agenda. She's a bitch. Period.

I don't feel one bit sorry for her. She can try to paint herself as the victim until her last breath and I'll never be stupid enough to buy it (unlike Parasite). She's a raging bitch behind closed doors who helped her husband lie to all during his campaign. She needs to stop milking this, her cancer, and her child's death; she needs to move on and to STFU.
With all due respect to Elizabeth I don't see Sandra's as someone who has taken the high road and has moved on. You hear about her marriage, but you also see this Sandra as a women who comes out on top and just keeps going. I watched her on the Today Show and thought how important it is how people view her more than anything. I would tell her to take care of herself first, family and then won't worry about the public's image. I think most of us respect her highly as I do and wish her only health and happiness. You can't control John and the others that surround him.

John should have just left the marriage before he took a test ride on his replacement. There is no breaks in marriage - you're either in or out of the marriage and not in an out of two women.
