Well, shiz. This is getting serious!
After the sexual abuse allegations surfaced regarding Al Gore's "unwanted sexual contact" with a massage therapist in 2006, the Portland, Oregon police are reopening their investigation!
Detective Mary Wheat said yesterday:
"The Portland Police Bureau has made the decision to re-open the case regarding the allegations brought forward against Mr. Al Gore. Consistent with our policy regarding open investigations, the Police Bureau will not be commenting on any additional specifics regarding this case at this time."
Kalee Kreider, Gore's spokeswoman, however, thinks that the new investigation "will only benefit Mr. Gore" and continued:
"The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial."
The department closed the case originally because there was not enough evidence to bring charges against the former Vice President, which is why it's so interesting that they're re-opening the investigation!
Perhaps there's some new evidence?
What do U think?? Do U think Al Gore is guilty??
