Jane Lynch is everywhere! (And we love it!)

Our favorite Gleek has been cast as the mother to Jennette McCurdy’s character Sam on iCarly. It's only a one episode gig, but it's sure scoring her some mucho cool points on the home front!

Sources say that her stepdaughter is a huge iCarly fan, so much so that her Mom included a reference in her recent wedding vows!

You obviously haven't watched icarly if you think this is going to be a "one episode gig". Maybe she's only scheduled to appear in one now, but she'll be back.

Thank God for iCarly—-it makes watching kid tv enjoyable. I'm impressed with the casting and I think it's so great that Jane Lynch doesn't think she is too cool for school to do this show. Sam's mother is unemployed, jumps from guy to guy, and is basically a do-nothing (potential) alcoholic. I too have wondered if they'd ever cast her and ALWAYS thought if they did, the actress wouldn't live up to the picture Sam has painted of her mom. I was wrong.

Re: Espereza – Agreed. I wish this show would go on forever. All the actors inhabit their parts so well and I always find myself laughing out loud at least a couple times during every episode.
