Lindsay Lohan has to surrender herself to the court on July 20th at 8:30 AM to begin serving a 90 day jail sentence.
The hard-pAArtying actress was also ordered to serve an additional 90 days at an in-patient rehab treatment.
The judge in Lindsanity's probation violation case pointed out to Lohan the numerous times she has lied in the past and was unsympathetic to the actress' tears when she spoke to the court.
Jail AND rehab will do her good!

To the idiots saying that Lindsay won't be able to dye her hair, or do her nails, etc. in jail: You're ignorant. Women's jails allow inmates to do all that stuff. Most women's prisons and jails actually have beauty salons inside them that are run by some of the other inmates as part of training for jobs in the industry for when they are released. They're prisons, they're not dungeons where people are left to lay on the floor, slowly reverting into cave men. The government allows people to groom themselves for fawck sakes! And for women, that includes cosmetics, hair products and styling, and nail care. It would be against human rights to not allow people to groom. Oh, and guess what else–THEY FEED THEM TOO!!! THEY EVEN LET THEM BATHE AND WEAR DEODORANT!!!AMAZING! You idiots!!! Get a clue!
I think this is ultimately for the best, not even trying to be a dick. Think of what jail did for RDJ in the end. Perhaps it is the catalyst for her to get her life in order.

Either way, Lindsay was a child star, and as you know the statistics on child stars is disastrous. Her dad was apparently a crazy man to grow up with. And lastly, and finally, her mother is completely delusional and wants to be Lindsay's girlfriend instead of her mother. She has so many strikes against her, that are not her fault. And I think she has addictions that she must deal with before she can possibly comply with any orders given by a court. She said "I did the best the I could" and I believe that.

Re: misstetz – Brown wasn't a repeat, chronic offender. He took the chance the court gave him and he did right by the court, completing his labor and stipulations with no probation violations. He dotted all the court's i's and crossed all the t's. Lohan thumbed her nose at every stipulation the court laid down, repeatedly. That is seriously frowned upon.

How come in the US you get a date to go to jail? Here in the UK, if you get a prison sentence it has to start rightaway - like straight from the Court room so that you don't do a runner!! Makes no sense to me. Anyways, I'm glad she got jail & rehab time at last - hopefully it might save her life!!

I had to detox from methadone when I was in jail several years ago and all I can think is Lindsay will have to detox from whatever she's on…and let me tell you, it won't be pretty!
Hopefully this will encourage her to get her shit together and get clean and sober for good. It got ME sober! I never want to end up in jail ever again. I just celebrated 3 years clean and sober!!!
