James Bond 23 has been officially canceled now that MGM is going bankrupt. The movie was to be directed by Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig was going to reprise the title role.
MGM is looking for a buyer to help finance new films, but until then they will have to shelve or cancel scheduled productions. The Hobbit still appears to be underway, but James Bond 23 has been postponed indefinitely.
That's a real shame — we love the blonde Bond!
