So she is pale and rocking blonde hair…big deal! I am super pale and have blonde hair. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I am proud of my pale skin because I take care of it and wear sunscreen every single day. Plus, I would rather not increase my already predisposition to skin cancer. Since when is pale ugly? Many cultures around the world treasure pale skin just a some parts of this country treasure a tan. It's fine. If she is enbracing her natural color, that's great! It means that she is comfortable enough with herself that she does not have to change for anybody. All she might need, if anything, is a little makeup to bring some color to her face. Leave her be. Pale is the new tan anyways. Trends change over time.

ALSO would like to point out that although she was raised in america she's actually british born with brit parents. In the UK we dont have this awful hype for orange girls, we prefer what we like to call 'English Roses', which is a term used to describe pale english women with natural beauty.

If you're going to be nasty about Mischa being pale (and let's face it, you being nasty is why most people read PerezHilton, so fair enough, even though I think pale skin can look lovely), at least tell her to get a spray tan, not to go to a tanning bed. Fake tans look fake and the stuff smells really bad and REAL tans are horrible for your skin if you're naturally fair. Linda Carter is a good example of a fair-skinned woman who has had the sense to stay out of the sun and she still looks great even in her 50's. I hope it's just the camera angle and light, but if you compare the color of the rest of her skin to her face, it really does look like she's wearing white facepaint - the color is too even and too chalky white. The rest of her (arms) for example, has a slight golden overlay. Which would be the Seventh Sign of going barking mad.
