Boo-effing-Hoo! Lindsay's Lawyer Releases Official Statement - Trial "Unfair!"

Oh, boo-hoo!

Lindsay Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, is still whining about the alleged 'unfair' treatment her client received from the amazing Judge Marsha Revel, and has released the following statement:

“Ms. Lohan and I are extremely disappointed in the sentence handed down by Judge Revel. We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances. The reality is that Ms. Lohan, like most defendants, had to balance work commitments with court requirements. To be punished so severely for doing so, particularly in light of the fact that she substantially complied with each of her probationary conditions, is harsh and unfair. That said, Ms. Lohan is prepared to serve her jail time and to comply with the Court's orders.”

“With respect to Ms. Lohan's nails, the fact is, the words could barely be seen by the naked eye. That a courtroom camera, purportedly there to accurately chronicle the proceedings, would use a telephoto lens to zoom in as it did to Ms. Lohan's fingernail is a commentary on the entire issue.”

Far harsher than others would have received? How about she's lucky that she's gone this long without her ass being thrown in jail?

Someone just can't handle not getting their way for the first time ever! THIS is what happens when you always "yes" someone and they never have any consequences for their actions!

So in conclusion, Shawn Chapman Holley, shut the fuck up and go enAAble some other trainwreck celebrity!

Far harsher than what others would have received? SERIOUSLY?

  2. 2

I thought she's going to jail for carjacking, DUI, having coke on her possession, reckless driving, harassment, endangerment and THEN lying about this & that for her non compliance. Not to mention tampering with the SCRAM, having coke in her system, having a nasty orange glow, an enabling family, and not claiming accountability for her childish actions. But I could be wrong.

  3. 3

Why do you hate her so much??? Did she ever do something to piss you off? The girl is having a hard time… let her cope with it on her own.

  4. 4

Bahaha..she needs to stfu and go to jail.

I feel safer that Lindsey is not driving in my city. Seriously, she still has an addiction to substances and if she is behind the wheel, she can kill herself and others. Do your time and get on with your life.

  6. 6

to the people defending her: SHE ALMOST KILLED PEOPLE WITH HER CAR because "I'm a movie star, I can do whatever the fuck I want".

    so fuck her

  7. 7

maybe now she'll respect the law. and as far as the finger messages, you are a stoopid feking cooont for even thinking doing this….i hope they throw the book at you

  8. 8

Whoever wrote this piece of text clearly is clueless about lawyers and their work. Also, this hot-mess-styled "witty" writing is getting pretty annoying as it is executed rather poorly. Plus, no need to hate on a woman this much when you don't even know anything about her, really.

  9. 9

Your a shit lawyer that's why. Got your ass handed it to you

  10. 10

No, the commentary here is that your whiney little bitch of a client once again thought she could just walk all over the system, then throw a "fuck u" at them without them knowing, as a little laugh for herself at our expense. Well, not this time bitch! For once she got caught and is now serving not even a fraction of what "others" get for this type of crime. She is NOT above the law, and your absurd comment that she is "working" is just to laughable to swallow. I'm sure you'll soon be singing a different tune once Lindsay stiffs you out of payment for your services like she does with everyone else.

  11. 11

The fact that a celeb has finally gotten sentenced somewhat fairly is causing the rest of the celebs to become fearful that they might actually be charged if they do something wrong. If a "normal" person had done what Lilo did - they'd have been thrown in jail years ago and would probably still be there. It's about time that a judge has finally treated a celeb closer to a regular Joe. I hope this trend becomes the norm for all those spoiled celebs who think they can do whatever the hell they want. It's time to crack down on all the moronic celebs!!!! They cry about wanting a normal life - so let's give it to them. Pay them regular salaries, make them work 5 days a week for 9 hours a day, give them limited benefits…etc. They want to be normal??? haha, that would change after having to actually BE normal. Spoiled bitches.

  12. 12

it is extreme compared to others in similiar situations or even those who have done worse.

  13. 13

and it was Perez. it was unfair. i bet Lindsay is already ripping her face off for what she did. 30 days would be enough. more than enough. but hey she gonna spend 23 days there so its not a big problem. she'll have time to realize some things.

  14. 14

Oh, please. She broke the law with drugs and alcohol and got off pretty light with her thumbing her nose at the court and not doing what she was required to do. Now she is taking all kinds of "OK with the court" drugs but she is gonna have one hell of a time when she goes to jail and inpatient rehab. I don't get why a dentist gave her Dilaudid and she should have been off of that one by now. Thats a very addictive drug and kicking it is horrendous. STOP FEELING SORRY FOR HER!!!!! SHE DID IT TO HERSELF!

  15. 15

I can't believe this…but i totally agree with u…Fuck u Lindsey and the lawyer u rode in on

    16

Bitch HAD the nerve to ask that Lindsay's SCRAM device be removed!! NOW THAT'S “THE JOKE here peeps!! Unfair “ she says““` Being Lilo's lawyer is unfair to all of America!! Lock Lilo up and throw away the key. America's roads “ WILL be safer and there will be “` more cocaine “ for ev1!!

  17. 17

Let's recap. Yes, the words were there and the fact that anyone noticed it is a commentary on the entire issue. LOL Yep, she's a lawyer.

  18. 18

Note to self never hire Shawn Chapman Holley shes as wacky as Lindsey.

  19. 19

OH YEA, DONT FORGET CHAPMAN HOLLEY IS REPRESENTING THAT DOUCHE WHO HIRED HOMELESS PEOPLE TO KILL HIS WIFE. HAHAHAHA! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT LOSER CASE. BUT DIDNT CHRIS BROWN GET A LIGHTER SENTENCE IN JAIL?? HMM.

  20. 20

I am kind of annoyed that this defense attorney would encourage this agony going on and on. I know a lawyer might want to continue raking in the bucks, but good God stop encouraging this chick, and tell her to just face the music already. She screwed up, the end. I don't care how disappointed anyone is. I think most people noticed she was disappointed when she was bawling her eyes out. We have eyes. We don't need a big statement, and at this point nobody wants to listen to you anymore Miss Lohan. Actions speak louder than words lady.

  21. 21

I agree that Lohan should face jail time and that 3 months isn't very harsh, but your criticism of her lawyer was misplaced. Holly was just doing her job: pursuing every possible avenue of mitigating her client's sentence. And there's a difference between "enAAbling" celebrities and ensuring that all criminal defendants - even extremely controversial ones who are guilty as sin - get a fair trial with effective representation, a right delineated in the Constitution's Sixth Amendment.

  22. 22

Re: kalven – *clapping* right on .

  23. 23

Yeah, to accurately chronicle the proceedings would include what she had written on a fingernail.

  24. 24

    Preach it!

  25. 25

i don't care who you are or where you go - having "fuck u" on your fingernails is immature, trashy and shows how much of a child Lindsey really is…….

  26. 26

Well, of course she's going to say all that. If she doesn't take Lindsay's side, and Lindsay fires her ass (we all know you either agree with LL or you're out), her cash cow dries up. It only behooves Holly financially to keep Lindsay as messed up as possible.

  27. 27

I think Judge Revel summed it all up correctly. Lindsay lied about the first DUI. Lied about the second DUI. Her Alcohol Ed. Program said she made up excuses not to show. Point being all she had to do was comply with her Probation! Her Probation was not unreasonable! Go to a class once a week! If she did none of this would be happening to her! Instead all Lindsay did was make excuses - My Uncle died, but I didn't attend the funeral. My passport was stolen, but I really went to Cannes to Party. I can't Drug Test in LA, I have to film a movie in Texas. Everything was complete and Total Bull-Shit.

  28. 28

Excuses, excuses. Cry me a river.

  29. 29

oooooooooooh pooooooooooooooooor rich white girl lindsey, the world seems unfair to you, your an over privileged, white girl that starred in movies and had it all but then you gave it up for the drugs, the sex, and the alcohol. my my you seem to have no luck in this world. Damn it if it had been a mexican like me or a black girl yeah right our asses would have been in jail since the first arrest and thats no fucking lie!

  30. 30

Funny how other defense attourney's are now coming forward and saying that the sentence is very harsh, and that the most anyone else has recieved for the same infractions is 30 days MAX.

I think the judge is just trying to make a name for herself.

  31. 31

Re: sassykat – So other carjackers on coke don't have to do time? Other people that don't comply with the courts aren't punished? What planet do you live on???

  32. 32

How can anyone say 90 days (which will end up being less) is extreme? She's had two DUI's, violated her probation, neglected her rehab and counseling requirements, and lied to the court. This should have happened 3 years ago and her status has gotten her out of it. It obviously got up with her as her behavior continued to get worse and her celebrity died.

  33. 33

I don't feel sorry for her at all. She needs to get help and since she won't she is making her life harder and harder by her stupid actions. GROW UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND STOP BLAMING THE SYSTEM AND THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPOSEDLY TREATED YOU UNFAIRLY. How the hell are you treated unfairly?????????? If you were anyone else you would be in jail ALOT longer.

  34. 34

Re: April 20th – Couldn't agree more. It just goes to show what she thinks of everything. She seems to have the maturity of a 13 year old.

  35. 35

She's right. Maybe it's not far harsher than what others would have received but it also isn't a typical case as it has attracted much public attention and therefore has the potential to influence public opinion of the criminal justice system. Therefore, it should have been treated in a different manner as far as the sensitivity of the case. Closed court, no videos released, no press. DUH! And the fingernail thing is DUMB!

  36. 36

    Best picture ever.

  37. 37

"As far as her nails go…" I almost fell on the floor from laughing at this stupidity. Man, what counselor in there right mind would try to defend that manicure. So what if they used a telephoto lens or not. She shouldnt of had anything remotely like that anywhere on her body

  38. 38

SO what?! SHe shouldnt of had that manicure at all. She needs to learn how to respect the law, and Im so happy to see a judge actually discipline a celeb who needs it.

  39. 39

These people got to be kidding me she got a light sentence and was very disrespectful with that whole nail polish thing. Happy she's going to rehab.

  40. 40

Perez- for once, you are right as rain. Few people without a clever attorney would have been given the leeway that's Lilo has received.

  41. 41

Well said, for once you sound like a grownup with a clue. Keep it up.

  42. 42

As much as I respect Lindsay's talent I think she deserves jail. and her mother is her biggest enabler.

  43. 43

Not sure why they are going out of their way to piss the judge off even more.

  44. ass says – reply to this

    44

Hey Perez, can you please just shut the fuck up already? Thanks.

  45. 45

Re: adamzlover – Could not have said it better myself!!

  46. 46

Uhmmm hello people, she's a defense attorney. Her job is to vigilantly defend her client at every turn. What do you expect her to say? That the sentence is totally fair and that they have no complaints? What kind of a fairy tale world do you live in that you think lawyers are supposed to tell the truth? Jesus there sure are a lot of ignorant morons up in here.

  47. 47

We believe that the penalty is far harsher than what others would have received under similar circumstances…
BULLSHIT; Everyone else would already be rotting in a jail cell for a few years, not days.

  48. 48

Why would they have used the lens on her nail if they hadn't seen something with the naked eye?

  49. 49

My four-year-old is more mature and aware of consequences, both positive and negative, that come following certain actions and behaviors than Lindsay. Maybe jail time and rehab will finally bring her into the real world, but I doubt it. That said, I'm pleasantly surprised that the judge held her accountable even though Lindsay won't be behind bars for long.

  50. 50

Re: Hanapana – Oh, yeah, and then she lied about the second DUI. She said some poor dude in an orange shirt was driving the car.

  51. 51

She should get another 30 days for her nail art.

  52. 52

Re: Nina Ferreira – Give me a break. 30 days is enough? She endangered innocent lives more than once, and she doesn't give two shits about it. She's probably crying right now only because she won't have access to her precious drugs and she'll be forced to be treated like any other criminal. BECAUSE SHE IS A CRIMINAL. 30 days is now where near enough. If this were any other "normal" person I bet you wouldn't feel the same way.

  53. 53

She deserves to go to jail, but I agree that it is ridiculous that they zoomed in on her fucking fingernails. How unprofessional.

  54. 54

So she thinks she has it too hard. oh please do you know how many ppl go to jail for just having a suspended license or forgot to pay a ticket… Does it matter if they have a job? HELL NO the judge will lock them up mayb 10 days mayb under a year, but that job aint gona be waitin for them when they get out in either case. She says she had to balance work and her court apperances… um so does everyone else honey. When a person gets out of jail and they have probation and HAVE to see their PO do you think it matters they have no car to get there? NO does it matter noone will hire them so they cant pay the PO dues? NO So shut the fuck up Lindsay (and the ones sticking up for her) you cant even fantom how fuked up the legal system really is for all the regular joes.

  55. 55

This was the best news I've heard in a while. It's about time they threw her train wreck has been ass in jail. She's been getting away with everything for far too long. If anything, she received special treatment because of who she is, I feel zero sympathy for her. She had a chance to avoid jail time but she chose to skip her required classes and drink while wearing her scram bracelet. Seriously how stupid can someone be?? Just because you're famous doesn't mean you're above the law. She blames her not going to the required classes because of her work. WHAT WORK????? I don't even remember the last thing I saw her in. She conveniently "lost" her passport when she was supposed to appear in court. In reality she was partying in France. Her parents need to shut the hell up and quit enabling her or she'll end up dead and there goes their cash cow. She deserves every single day of the sentence she received, if not more. In my opinion the judge wasn't harsh enough.

  56. 56

She bawled in front of the judge like she was so sincere, knowing she came to court with FUCK U on her nails? Throw the goddamn book at her just for the cheeky bullshit.

  57. 57

"balance work commitments with court requirements"??????!!!!!! any time i ever got in trouble i didn't have options about balancing these two things…it was go or go to jail. fuck her, entitled spoiled drug addict.

  58. 58

    You guys are really mean.

  59. 59

Re: Lindsay Lohan – That'd be the price of Perez's lame claim to fame in action, which we all know comes solely at the expense of others far more deserving of it than he. Which isn't saying much, really. Pee-Wee-Herman is more deserving of press coverage than Perez, he's just THAT useless. And GRODY. He should be serving a life sentence just on general principle, with charges dating back to… oh, right around the time he learned how to talk. Suchadouche.

  60. 60

"Shut the fuck up?" Wow, how incredibly disrespectful and inappropriate.

  61. 61

What a bunch of horseshit. What would have happened in court if I was the one in front of the judge? You can bet your ass I would have been happy to get 90 days!! Maybe someone should let the little princess know what happens to regular folks when they fuck up as much as she has. What a freakin loser she is. Seriously.

  62. Marm says – reply to this

    62

Calling out a judge in public? What a moron! Long after Lindsanity and her money are long gone (up her nose) she will still have to appear in front of that judge.

  63. 63

Didn't she crazy carjack someone, drunk, with coke in her favorite pants? I knew this guy (not white or rich, but also dumb as fuck) who was busted jaywalking while on probation (for possession of meth, for personal use) and he got two weeks in jail for probation violation. Two weeks for a jaywalking violation of his probation. And this skanky bitch thinks she was treated unfairly?!

    Ooohh….now I'm mad
