NPR Drops The Radio

How modern!

National Public Radio has decided to just go by their commonly used moniker "NPR" because the company believes they have moved beyond just radio and they are now a multi-platform media company.

The rebranding is very suggestive that NPR sees their future online as opposed to on the radio, which is pretty smart if you ask us!

We're buying it — it's similar to CNN or KFC in that way!

    NPR is for psychotic liberals with raging paranoia. NPR's mission statement is to berate conservative thinking while simultaneously telling non-whites that elderly white males are out to get them. I thought Barry Obama was the great unifier and the US would be "post racial." That joker has fail written all over him. Just like NPR.

    It's not the same as those two other examples: KFC still stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken, which is what they serve amongst other things and CNN stands for Cable News Network which it still is, if NPR is moving away from radio but still NPR? National Public Radio? dumb.

    Whew… really some angry wack-a-doodles leaving comments here! The fact NPR will now just use their acronym is a yawner for even a true news source. But it's REALLY sleep-inducing news for a gossip source like Perez.

    Actually NPR is a goverment tool to snap the sacks off of males and run up anti-depressant prescriptions for females. Every time I turn the station on they are interviewing some Arab - a chef, a run of the mill singer, or piss artist. Sheeeet!

    BTW, lay off of Barry, he's only doing what the rich white men are telling him to do - you know the ones…the great great grandchildren of those famous opium runners….the name escapes me…

    Re: feel_the_darkness – I can't tell a lie: you cracked me up w/ the line about NPR increasing anti-depressant scripts for chicks. BTW, there is no way I can lay off on the Barry bashing. Not gonna happen. What family are you referring to with the opium running comment? I know Joe Kennedy slanged alcohol (and his whole fam has reaped the benefits of his drug dealing) but didn't think he was selling opium.

    Of course, NPR is the same as CNN. National Propaganda Radio= Communist News Network. They both hate AMERICA. And NPR has the balls to do it with taxpayers money. But, you don't care about that Perez. As long as you get your own agendas out there. Gay, GaGa, tears for ILLEGAL ALIENS, and third world shithole charities.

    There is a recent article on how NPR and its web of radio, tv, net, etc. is turning into this decades MTV for music. But is it fair coverage?
