Lawyers for Mel Gibson are meeting with the Sheriff's Department to present evidence that the actor is innocent of any crime against his ex, Oksana Grigorieva - and that she is guilty of extortion!
Mel is alleging that Oksana tried to extort him by saying that she would sell tapes of their arguments. He also says he can prove that he is innocent of domestic violence, child endangerment and assault with a deadly weapon.
Ha. We'd love to see what he has in store for them. Who would trust his word on anything?!

There are laws against lying to police, and Mel has already lied and been caught…over the domestic violence issue, thanks to the extensive audio tapes. Clearly, his claims of extortion, which are only now being made…after two weeks of this story emerging, are nothing but a late bid to put-up a smoke and mirrors campaign, by Mel and his hired "crisis management team"; including his lawyers. You will recall that exactly one week ago, Mel's spokesperson openly denied any knowledge of any tapes existing, this in a statement released to the media–yet now, 7 days later, he is claiming full knowledge of the tapes and that he was being extorted for money? Talk about revisionist history, after the fact. He can't keep his story straight, nor are his lawyers keeping his story straight.

Mel is an alcoholic, while that doesn't excuse his rants, it kind of explains it, his not getting treatment. Secondly, you don't know what Oksana said or did to provoke him while drunk, and no doubts she provoked him because she had the recording all ready to go. Oksana, is clearly a gold digging whore who knew exactly what she was doing when she recorded him in the first place - extorting money. If Mel did abusive her physically, Im sure that the authorities would have been on to him sooner as if she was in "fear" of him, she or her family would have called them. She took advantage of him when his marriage broke up and she is just a manuplating whore.

It is completely unrealistic, to begin with, for Mel to truly believe that such a young, healthy, and beautiful female is going to be his life partner!
