Yesterday, Tammy Lynn Michaels filed for full custody of the pairs two twins. Seems only fair, since Tammy did carry the twins to term, after being knocked up by a turkey baster. Plus, Melissa is fighting ruthlessly, so no reason why Tammy shouldn't as well.
In the docs filed, Tammy also blames "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, but that reason also seems to warrant her getting alimony. She also filed for spousal support.
Get it while the getting is good!
On a sadder note, when Tammy filed yesterday, she filed under a dissolution of marriage rather than a dissolution of domestic partnership. That's a mistake, as the two don't legally qualify as a marriage.
No, we take that back. THAT is what the mistake is, not being able to be recognized as a legal marriage!

Etheridge seems to have a bad track record with relationships. I like Tammy but she can get off her ass and book some acting jobs. She was hilarious on "Popular" years ago.

I am on Tammy's side based on the info I have heard( hard to say what is true of course). She quit her career and became a stay at home mom. That was a choice they made as a couple and stay at homes moms should not be punished for that when the marriage is over. Now that she was married to a famous person she can't exactly go get a job at the mall.
if you got married when one of these idiotic judges ruled it legal and that ruling was over turned making gay marriage illegal then can you get a divorce? One would think gay divorce is illegal too.

Re: sharre – Oh, please. Anyone who uses this as an example against gay marriage is a complete moron. The divorce rate for straight couples is incredibly high, and things are not by any means civil in most divorces. I'm sure the divorce rate for gay and straight marriages is about the same, and that's no reason for gay marriage to not be legal. Anyone who believes it is, is just a bigot.

She deserves to get paid for child support and for supporting Melissa (she's so old and ugly) all those years, she does look like a fat Kendra.

I'm Team Tammy also, but you have to admit that the girl let herself go. When she and Melissa got together, she was a hot young actress with a great body, stylish clothes, and cute haircut. She also wore make-up. Now she's dowdy. overweight, and doesn't seem to care how she looks at all.
Team Tammy all the way. It is disgusting - utterly disgusting - how Melissa is behaving. For all intents and purposes, they were a legally married couple, and Tammy gave up her career to stay at home and raise not only Melissa's older two children, but also their own young twins. Shame on Melissa for abandoning her family and asking the court to condone not supporting it. I pray Tammy is awarded full custody, gets proper financial support and finds true love with a deserving, wonderful partner. And, when her babies are old enough, gets a great job - she ROCKED Popular … LOVED her on that show… HANG IN THERE TAMMY!! and F*CK YOU, Melissa - you are a deadbeat.

This is such a homophobic entry. I can't believe that you actually said (or allowed it to be said in your name) that it's "only fair" that one partner in a gay relationship should have FULL CUSTODY of the children since she was the biological parent. Seriously!??? How can you, as a gay man, have such a limited understanding of what family means, how a gay (or for that matter any non-normative) family works, or what makes a parent a parent? Unbelievable. As you've managed to notice in the case of Tiger Woods, a difficult divorce, a bad relationship, even mistreating your partner, etc etc does not strip you of your parental status, nor does it strip your children of their relationship with you! Shocking.
And one more thing - breaking up with someone who doesn't want the relationship to end doesn't make you a bastard. Relationships are complicated, people leave their partners for all sorts of reasons - who the fuck knows why these two broke up and whether or not it was 'warranted'.
I feel for Tammy. Melissa has had 4 kids and 2 committed relationships yet when they end she wants to act that the kids are not hers therefore no responsiblity.

She rocked Popular, one of the best shows ever! who would of thought Nicole Julian was gay in real life haha. hope after all this is done she manages to get a new acting job coz she is a amazingly talented actress, WAY more talented then Melissas old scraggy ass.
That's too bad that prominent gay couples such as them can't have a happier ending to show the world.
