Lindsay Refuses To Go To Jail!

Lindsay LOLhan is all ROFLMAO about that whole pesky jail thing, thinking that she can work the legal system by appealing her 90-day jail sentence.
However sources say that this will only buy her some time, about 6 months to a year, since she WILL have to eventually serve her time.
A close insider says:
“Lindsay's lawyer only has to file a notice of appeal with Judge (Marsha) Revel, and under terms of California law–particularly misdemeanor probation appeals–the defendant must be granted bail. Judge Revel will be forced to give Lohan bail pending the appeal, and Lilo wouldn't even have to appear in front of Judge Revel again…the appeal will take six months to a year to be heard. It's highly unlikely that Lohan's appeal will be successful. However, it will keep her out of jail for at least the next six months to a year.”
The problem is Lindsay can't even find a lawyer who will help her since she continues to act like she's better than everybody else and is somehow above the law. A source close to the washed-up star adds:
"Lindsay met with two prominent criminal defense attorneys on Wednesday, but both refused to take the case because of her bad attitude. Lohan blames everyone around her for her circumstances, and she is absolutely unaccountable. She is an attorney's worst nightmare because she simply refuses to follow any advice that she disagrees with."

aww she should just get it over with. I've known ppl to violate probation and do the time and get it over with. I feel sorry for Lindsay though. I wished ppl wouldn't make news out of someones business. She will always be misunderstood coz of all the media drama when in reality shes nothing like tht!
I wish her the best - it is not easy to beat your addictions. At some point, you need to take control of your own life and be a responsible person. Hopefully she can surrond herself with people that truly care about her and not just people she can blame for her problems.

She should have gone right to jail from the court. It would be over and done before she knew it. Instead, she's still putting that fingernail up. If she can afford paying all that money twice for a repeat performance, it looks as though she can draaag it out yeeeet again. Why she'd want to is beyond me, but considering her parent's enabling comments that 'it's not fair, boo hoo', etc, this was sadly almost gauranteed to happen. Instead of feeling contrite and facing up, and growing up, mom and pop have misguidedly convinced her again that she's too special for her sentence. Now she's looking at another even more hellish and longer road. You KNOW she isn't going to behave. What if she gets MORE time second time around? It could happen.

she needs to get over herself and get it over with. I had to do one month in county jail (like 10 years ago), for some stupid 18 year old mistake i did. And its really not that bad. I did my month and havn't looked back since. She's not even going to be in general population. Get it over with dumbass and just move on.

an appeal takes six months to a year? hmmmm I've never dealt with criminal appeals but others normally take around three months

My Mum died from an alcohol addiction, and from as far as I can tell, she fits the mould of going down the same track.
She should just accept it & go to jail. The more shit like this that she pulls the more people start to not like her. I felt bad for her but her delusional ass needs a reality check & needs to learn she isn't entitled to special treatment just because she's famous - although she clearly thinks she is entitled to it. Once again Perezers, you are clueless. Yes, an appeal is has a 99% chance of failure in this case. But, it won't take six months either. It might take 30 days, or so. But….if she were to check herself into a an in house rehab facility, like immediately, she has a real change of prevailing here. But the dynamic has changed, the way of dealing with this is not traditional, but if she were to listen to someone who knows how to handle this, it is very doable.
She needs to do her time, and stop thinking she's entitled to special priveleges!! It's not like she's even going to have to do 90 days, She'll probably only have to do 20 days or less for some bullsh*t reason! Get over yourself Lindsay!!!!!

The media is as much to blame as this very stupid, washed up, has been celebrity. They need to get out of her face, let her 15 minutes be over, and ignore her from now on. No Lindsey served that time and get it over with. Robert Downey, Jr is an good example and look where he is today. A lot of high profile people have went to jail and they are not crying about it. She may succeed in her appeal. Just because someone has the opinion it is a slim chance does not mean anything. If I were her, I would certainly explore all available legal options to stay out of jail, and a good attorney will find them. If her strategy is within the allowable law, then she certainly isn't behaving "entitled" just because she takes advantage of it. Judging from the comments on here, the public would railroad her into jail if they could. The message on her fingernail was probably directed those of you who want to see her behind bars. I am sure some of you want her there because it will help her clean up her act, others just seem vindictive.

Lindsay prolly forking over a ton of dough daily for this chick to keep her out of jail and she failed so she fired her before considering appealing. But why appeal? Going to jail keeps all the other suet's against her at bay for awhile hopefully long enough for some of them to reconsider the suet. Plus keeps her out of that porno movie that non of us wants to see her or anyone starring in.

Anyone else probably would have had to serve immediately and cannot believe the judge was dumb enough to give her the extra time knowing her history.

Unless Lilo commits suicide or a suicide attempt lands her in the hospital, Lindsay Lohan is going to jail July 20th. To a heavy smoker, a ninety day sentence anywhere with zero smoking is panic inducing. I read somewhere that she's a two pack a day'er. On the plus side, they're probably allowed the patch. if a person quit for 90 days, they could never bother to pick it up again; a huge personal bonus.

So sad to see someone who was on her way to a good career throw it all away. Drugs have made her feel as if she doesn't have to answer to anyone or take responsibility for her behavior. Her parents are a joke and apparently the people around her tell her whatever she wants to hear. I just wish her pitiful excuse of a mother would get a grasp on reality and actually see that Lindsay gets the help she needs.
