Honestly, Gibson's behavior is so bizarre, my guess is he's got Alzheimers or is having a series of strokes (due to his chain smoking). His first event was probably when he got pulled over for drunk driving in 2006.
People say that Alzheimer's patients can flip their personalities or their censorship goes out the window.
My guess is within the next year, it's going to come out he's got something organic going on, more than simply him being an asshole.
