Not So Funny! Lucille Ball's Daughter Sued!

| Filed under: TV NewsLegal Matters

Greed is an ugly thing!

Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill, the daughter of fame comedienne Lucille Ball, finds herself battling a money-grubbing wench for some of the memorabilia left behind by her mother.

Susie Morton is the wife of the late Gary Morton, who was previously married to Lucille Ball when she died. According to Susie and her legal team, Gary inherited some of Lucille's stuff when she died, including autographed pictures, artwork, and furnishings. Susie, who is currently in possession of these items, wants to sell them at auction.

Lucie claims her mother left her these items and threatened to sue for their safe return. Now, she faces a pre-emptive lawsuit from this gold-digger, who wants to keep the memorabilia in her possession.

Rude! There could be memories attached to these things and this bitch just wants to snatch them away to make some $$$!

Use the money your momma left you and get a GREAT attorney, Lucie! Don't let this leech get anything she doesn't deserve!

No, Susie Morton is Garys daughter/Lucys step daughter.
You need to seriously look into what is happening to this site.

another cut and paste for you Mario, way to go again

  4. @v@ says – reply to this

Is somebody running out of money?
Those are Lucie's mother's things. I hope a court sees it that way. Trying to benefit because your Dad married someone you aren't related to while trying to leave Lucy's real children empty handed and bereft of those memories doesn't sound ethical to me.

what a bitch, omg, how could she think she should be entitled to any of this!!

Re: frizbe – NO Susie Morton is the second wife.
UGH this is SICK. The items include LOVE LETTERS between her mom and dad!

Here is a paragraph from a REPUTABLE source:
The auction is set for July 17th and include love letters between Lucille Ball and her second husband Gary Morton, her 1984 Rolls Royce and her personal address book that includes addresses from many stars from her day, artwork, silverware and Ball’s favorite backgammon boards, a game which was reportedly a passion of the actress.

Susie Morton is a terrible person. Anyone want to protest the auction?

I'd just like to say that I MISS LUCY, and I LOVE LUCY. Those were great shows, and still are. I miss, as well, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley. They were so good together.

Poor thing…. That's Lucy's daughter and I don't care it was in Gary Morton's possession when she died… Lucielle is her daughter and she should have her mommas things…. People are so disgusting in order to make a quick buck!!

These items came into the hands of Susie Morton, who married Gary Morton in 1996, after the death of Lucille Ball in 1989. Susie Morton is better known as Susie McAllister, a former professional golfer on the LPGA Tour.

Im surprised Gary's wife #2 has waited so long with the stuff. She married him about 2 years before he died - and that was back in 1999 or so. Go Lucie -a great singer who has done a wonderful job maintaining her mother's estate and memory.

Everyone knows Susie Morton is a whore of the FIST kind — she likes it up the ass with all fingers spread.

Late to the party–again. Been following the preview of the items to be auctioned for a while now. I do agree, though–anything having to do with the kids (photos, etc.) should be returned to them. Seems kinda cheap.

  19. 19

That's how estates work. If it stuff was left to Gary and he left it to Susie, then it belongs to Susie. When our mom died, she left stuff to her husband, our step father. When he died, he left it to his kid. Oh well.

  20. 20

I agree, this ex wife of Gary's should know what is right..it would be right to give the stuff back to the kids who have memories of their mother. This woman does not fit in at all…there are just some things that shouldnt happen and this woman knows in her heart the stuff belongs to Lucie and Desi, Jr..and their families..do what is right..

Lucie Arnaz has been shamelessly milking her mother's and father's legacy for years with her brother under the auspices of "desilu too," hawking calendars and cookie jars and every item you can think of. They have the licensing rights to Lucy's and Desi's images, so obviously Lucille and Desi provided for them generously in their wills. I'm sure the untalented, ungrateful children have made millions. And meanwhile Lucie has bashed Lucille, calling her a bad mother. But she's more than happy to get rich off of her mother. The only blessing is that the ungrateful children do not own the rights to "I Love Lucy," which Lucille and Desi sold back to CBS, so they're not cleaning up on the DVDs, too. Stop being so greedy, Lucie. Try to show just a little of the class that your parents had.
