Work Permits For Kate's 8 Might Not Be Legal!

Uh, oh!

A Pennsylvania representative is questioning whether or not the work permits for Kate Gosselin's eight children are legal for their show Kate Plus 8!

Rep. Thomas Murt says that the state law allows children under 7 to work in movies, but not in television and the sextuplets are only 6.

Murt sent a letter yesterday to the state attorney general and labor secretary to inquire about the matter.

Doesn't sound good for Kate and her little moneymakers!

There is nothing more PRESSING taking place in Pennsylvania for the REpresentative to busy himself with? Next, he'll petition the governor to close Pat's Steaks for competing too close to his preferred cheesteak facility. Give me a break. Kate & her crew pay tax on all money made under PA's "roof". You'd think he'd be ok with that and shut the hell up!

don't these government people have more important things to do? Even state ones? Their economy isn't great. unemployment sucks, etc. etc. etc. Her family has been gone over and over by CPS and other people who are butting in. AND EVERYTHING HAS COME OUT FINE! Meanwhile, there are probably thousands of children in the state that do need intervention of some sort. Whether it is because they are being abused physically, emotionally, or psychologically (or a comb. of all three). Or have been abandoned by their parents, or families that cannot afford to house their families anymore, pay their bills or FEED THEM. But this idiot is upset because the law deals with children acting in MOVIES and does not mention TV. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? THE HOURS THEY WORK AND THE CONDITIONS SHOULD BE THE SAME! Idiots.

BORING!! The court has already approved their show. This law does not apply as they do not learn lines or play a part. They are living their lives and TLC is filming it PERIOD. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Jodi who had their OWN kids under 7 on the show the first couple of seasons are writing politicians and keeping this crap going as they got mad and jealous when Aunt Jodi demanded more money from TLC and they dumped her from the show.The 6 kids are getting FREE trips to fun places, free chickens and workers to build the coops. Free trips to the Empire state building and still getting paid to enjoy the fun.
