some people think getting a big ol dick shoved up your shitterhole is cruel too. dont throw stones perez. we all live differently.

  2. 2

I started getting mine done when I was ten - us Italians are pretty hairy! & I absolutely love this show, it's my total guilty pleasure. But she doesn't seem to be bothered by the waxing. It's not like she was kicking and screaming and against it.

  3. 3

Being a teacher, I know TONS of young girls (7 and 8 years old) who get their brows waxed regularly. This is not a big deal!

  4. 4

Omg I was watching this last night too and I couldn't help but cringe! She's 10! She does not need to be sculpting her eyebrows.

  5. 5

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! What has this world come to? That fat mother with her underarm boobs hanging out from the back! Filthy people!

  6. 6

Fucked up1 this is why sexualized children are potential victims of pedophiles

  7. 7

As a father of a little girl, I could never do this to my daughter. It's creepy to see the little girls with makeup on. The thought makes me think that pedo's are very close by watching the kids.

  8. 8

what's the difference between this and you harping on lourdes to wax her unibrow a couple years back???

  9. 9

So where is ACS to take these kids away from these disgusting parents? WHy is this show still on the air? Sorry but this is abuse. It's disgusting. A child should be a child not look like and act like a whore. These kids are tired and being pushed too far not to mention all the predators that are jerking off to this show because of the way these little girls look. Terrible.

  10. 10

well thats fucked up…. i feel sorry for that lil girl :(

  11. 11

F***ed UP sexualized children are a traget for pedophiles

  12. 12

I will NEVER EVER understand the parents that take part in this, my opinion on these people is they are just TRASHY and trying desperately to live through their children.

  13. 13

Maybe that "mom" should get her teeth fixed instead of waxing a child's eyebrows!

  14. 14

wow she takes it better than I do.

  15. Payen says – reply to this

Parents who involve their children in this pagent life (and I know one personally who has been brainwashing her daughter since birth) truly have their own brand of sickness.

  16. 16

These pageants are the most disgusting thing you can subject your child to (even if it is voluntarily). It only caters to pedophiles, and makes the young girls crazy. Pageants for children should seriously be banned!

  17. 17

I started getting my lip waxed when I was 12 and eyebrows at 13 or 14. It was my choice though. As one other poster said I dont think its that bad ( I wouldnt let my 10 year old do it), but she didn't really seems to mind. She is actually more brave than I am still!

  18. 18

So sad. I love how even little girls need to alter their appearances now to satisfy the status quo. Yet her mother is a pig.

  19. 19

Considering you spend half of your day INSULTING WOMEN, calling them "fug" and "fat" … not to mention telling them to lose weight, get a haircut, put on some makeup, get Botox…

  20. 20

This isn't so bad. I started waxing my eyebrows at 11, and shaving my legs and underarms around 10. I was hairy and embarrassed, and my mom, whose mother didn't allow her to do anything feminine until she was 16, was sympathetic. I have family who were even younger when they began waxing/bleaching because their hair was darker. Of all the crazy stuff that happens on this show (which is pretty reprehensible), this is a pretty normal behavior.

  21. 21

And calling THEM cruel indicates to me that you don't listen to yourself, and that makes you the most idiotic, hypocritical piece of SHIT I've known in a LONG FUCKING TIME.

  22. 22

Honestly, I had my eyebrows done for the first time when I was 10. And it wasn't horrible, barely hurt and its not like it scarred me for life. It's actually pretty typical. I don't see whats horrifying you, perez.

  23. 23

I think it's criminal what these parents do to these little girls. Most of them are white trash low lifes who need to seek fame and fortune through their children because they never amounted to anything!!!

  24. 24

i notice that most of these moms are fat

  25. 25

Re: account_user – Exactly! They are basically asking to have their kids kidnapped and molested.

  26. 26

Did you ever notice that most of these little beauty queens have the ugliest, fattest, nastiest, funkiest moms???

  27. 27

I don't think that being that young being so concerned with their looks is healthy.

"Are you ready to make me beautiful"

At that age shes not getting judged…This is just setting her up to be an obnoxious arrogant girl like most hot chicks are when they grow up. Or she starts gaining weight (judging by her mom) and shes so wrapped up in being pretty she'll be so insecure to the point she'll try starving herself :S sad…..

  28. 28

Disgusting! I'm not a fan of pageants, but if the girls enjoy it, I see no problem. However, a 10-year-old doesn't need eyebrow waxing! This girl doesn't even have dark hair, so what's the point?!?

  29. 29

this is so not a big deal at all…I used to wax my eyebrows when I was 11…I would be more concerned about the outfits these girls were wearing during the show!

  30. 30

It's one thing if she's hairy and embarressed then I understand but it's another to do it for a beauty pageant. I think that children's beauty pageants have gotten way out of hand. If the pageant is for teens then yes, make-up, eyebrow waxing and $400 dresses are a must to compete.I get that. But for kids like her (hello she's only 10!) they should do natural pageants not glitz.

  31. 31

ugh i officially despise pageants. How do you not feel physically ill watching that poor kid get abused? And i'm serious. Any parent who does that to their child & exploits them on TV like that is abusive. this is sick

  32. 32

The parents need to be brought up on child abuse charges.. WHY? Because this is abuse. 10 year olds do NOT need to be getting their eyebrows waxed, and if these ten year olds THINK they need their brows waxed, then the parents are not doing their jobs. They are putting these images in these girls heads too early.. did you hear the mom??? "That looks MUCH better, GOD".. like she looked hideous before the brows were waxed.. what a fat idiot.. this mother is hideous and feels she has to live through her daughter…..
WAXING your eyebrows is different then doing things for Hygiene purposes…
this whole show is disgusting… and the parents need to be locked up…

Re: aubrey – If you don't think 7 and 8 year olds getting their eyebrows waxed isn't WEIRD then I feel bad for the kids in your class. You are probably one of those who thinks its good to be handing condoms out to a grade 1 if they ask for it… hmmmm and we all wonder why kids are so fucked up these days…..

  33. 33

Why are the mothers always fat, ugly cows? Why don't they let their little girls be kids and spend all of that money on the diet and lipo and whatever else it is that they need.

  34. 34

Seriously can kids today even be kids? Appears wants to make their children look like adults all for the gain of what. What about the young starlets of the pass example: Elizabeth Taylor or Shirley Temple - they looked cute without looking ready for some ped to come after them…this is beyond messed up and in fact I believe cruelty to a child - hairy or NOT. No wonder kids are so messed up about their image.

  35. 35

lol, my mom didnt even let me shave till my 6th grade graduation.
all parents are different i mean when it comes to the whole waxing thing but the whole make up thing is rather creepy

  36. 36

Re: BayouGirl13 – I've noticed that, too!! Jesus, let these kids be kids. I have 2 daughters and I'm noticing alot of the girls at their school don't look like little girls, it's pretty disturbing to me.

  37. 37

Having to watch men kiss in public and flaunt their PDA is cruel too Mario to each is own douche bag.

  38. 38

Why do they use hot wax? Nads works just as well and it doesn't burn the delicate skin around your eyes. And I think that girl's eyebrows looked fine when she first came in.

  39. 39

As a teen and now an adult I've always been waxed. But, I don't like it when anyone under the age of 12 gets it. They sat in the beauty chair all brave but cry when the hot wax is pulled. Then about 5 minutes later they are ok. And guess who smiles the while time? The parent. I wanted to say something but felt it was not my place. After a while Waxing is no big deal for anyone over the age of 12. But, I fear 10 is too young yet that IS up to the parent. Take it from someone who does it on a regular basis and see young girls that young come on in. I look at their eyes and they are fine. But, it's the parents that insist on getting them done not the kids. And remember once you start you have to keep it up! Oh, but wait until they have other body parts wax now that's another story! I would ask my daughter first is this what YOU want.

  40. 40

ewwwww her eyebrows are gonna be so bushy when shes older, and it looked exactly the same after?!
her mum is the one that needs the treatments eww look at the fatty!

  41. 41

wow I kant believe this mother putting hott wax and her childs eyebrow . Dos she not know that the skin around your eye is very thin and by putting hot wax on it shes only helipn the skin age faster . People now a days

  42. 42

Re: YUCK – Eww, foulness. There's no need for your cruelty YUCK. Just because you don't condone someone's lifestyle does not mean that vulgarity need be involved. Personally, I DO think this is a big deal. She is 10 for crying out loud.

  43. 43

I think mom is overcompensating for that nasty bit of side boob sticking out of her shirt. Nothing you do to your daughter is going to change how nasty you are, leave the kid alone!

  44. 44

this is awful… getting your eyebrows done hurts even as an adult!

  45. 45

These fat mother's of these little girls are living through them, absolutely sickening! Pageants should be stopped all together!!

  46. 46

Wow, having to be so worried about her appearance (because of fat mom) at the age of 10. That's so wrong.

  47. 47

The child was not comfortable as this was being done. Disgusting. The mother, in my opinion, is living vicariously through her daughter and is NOT a good mother.

  48. 48

    disgusting!!! poor kids…

  49. 49

Are you kidding me? This is NOT that bad. The child wasn't saying no or screaming or anything. She wanted it done.

  50. 50

Re: leesahlynn – If this really is your guilty pleasure well than your just as sick and twisted as the parents of these poor abused little girls. God help your kids if you have any. Having your eyebrows waxed at 10 because your hairy is one thing but having them waxed to parade on stage looking like your 35 when your only 10 is another. How do you know the girl wasent kicking and screaming before, during and after this was filmed? They do edit. I guess you support predators also!!

  51. 51

Horrible!!! These parents should get the shit kicked out of them!!!

  52. 52

CHILD ABUSE!!! OMG this is a total gross-out… poor kid

  53. 53

I personally think this is wrong. The only reason I would do this to my kid is if they really needed it or felt like they were being teased because of their eyebrows or whatever. The pretentiousness and fakeness of these pageants sickens me anyway. Kids should be kids, not dolls to parade to the public.

  54. 54

It's not a big deal that a 10-year-old is getting her eyebrows waxed… if I were her mother, though, I wouldn't let her wax her brows unless she had an embarrassing amount of hair (not normal, blonde brows like this girl).

However, these child pageants are disgusting, so I'm not against ANY bad press they get. I hate how all these little girls are taught to be the skinny, pretty, bitchy "popular" girls their mothers didn't get to be when they were kids. It's disgusting that any mother would put their kid on TV and dress them up like strippers for every sicko-pedophile in America to jack off to.

  55. 55

A 10-year-old is NOT a toddler, she's a PRETEEN. I bet the people who make this show are just as brain-dead as the girls' parents.

  56. 56

Not a fan of the show, but as a child with bushy brows, I vowed that my daughters would have groomed but age appropriate brows and I pluck or wax (with pre-waxed strips) thier brows. They prefer it to being called unibrow girl.

  57. 57

I don't see what the big deal is! She wasn't too bothered by it. I do think these pageants are a bit too much but to each their own…

  58. 58

  59. 59

wait until she has to go get a bikini wax!
    then she will know pain

  60. 60

this little girl is soo pretty!!!!
    she's adorable

  61. 61

child abuse..and the fat crazy obsessed screwed up mothers trying to re live their sad sad childhood trough the kids….

  62. 62

That's so fucked up. I work the corporate side of a collection of salons & spas and we won't let anyone under the age of 13 do any waxing whatsoever. Not only that, but he did the waxing wrong anyway. You don't let it sit while you put the wax on the other side - it only hurts more that way.

  63. 63

i'm so saddened she'll grow up with so many insecurities… but we can also see how BOSSY she's already turning!

and she's didn't need that wax AT ALL!!

  64. 64

This show is pathetic, one way or another. But my neighbor did this for me and my sister at 9 and 11, and her stepdaughters who were 11 and 13. It was no big deal, but then again, we weren't forced to dress up like tiny prostitutes and parade around on stage because our obese mothers needed us to for their self esteem.

It's fun to put on makeup and dress up and get your hair done and stuff when YOU want to, but when it's your tub mother prodding you into it, it's just sad.

  65. 65

This has nothing to do with sexualization. Maybe because it is on a show about beauty pageants people are perceiving it that way. But I was having my brows waxed around 9-10 years old because I was already forming a uni-brow and was self conscious about it. Girls at that age are already curious about their bodies and are close to puberty.
Believe me, we are thinking about shaving our legs and under arms (I already needed to shave at 11). So this waxing eyebrows is NOT a big deal. You think a 10 year old with a uni-brow should go to school and be made fun of when there is something easy to be done to take care of it?

  66. 66

Why is it that the moms of most of these pageant girls (note: girls, not women) are these obnoxious, fat, ugly wannabes. They are fucking seriously living vicariously through their daughters. And what's worse, most of these people are bible belters. What would Jesus say? LMAO

  67. 67

I'm 45, I have never waxed my eyebrows- I pluck them! I don't understand the waxing, the expense, the pain, twezzering a few e/o weekl is all it takes people!

  68. 68

i wonder if this will damage the hair folicles. if you haven't seen chris rock's documentary good hair, you should because it's funny and wicked interesting. in it there's a dermatologist who talks about how messing with hair folicles while a child is growing can damage the folicle and lead to problems later on. waxing kids needs to be illegal.

  69. 69

    call child services

  70. navik says – reply to this

i always say the pageants should be forbidden and all those people should be locked up in jail for child abuse !!!

  71. 71

My daughter had a unibrow at 10, and I had it waxed. No she didn't like it, but the alternative was to be mocked. And since she was already wearing glasses, there was NO way to miss them.

  72. ed69 says – reply to this

its actually kind of fun to watch…

  73. 73

It's just eyebrows. This sort of thing comes with the territory if you're going to be in a child's beauty contest. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

  74. 74

She's too blonde for a waxing but I must admit this show is my guilty pleasure. I feel like Kathy Griffin when I watch it! This particular girl named Brooklyn is the Queen of pageants imo. She was spot on perfect with everything she did. I could forsee her on TV someday. She has the "it" factor for sure.

  75. 75

studies show the more you wax earlier in a girls life, the thinner the re-growth is later in life. I wish my mom was waxing my wolfman brows when I was 10!

  76. 76

I started getting my eyebrows done around this age too. It doesn't even hurt.

  77. 77

wow when i was a kid nearly all my classmates including myself had to wait til at least 13 if not 16 to start wearing make up and plucking etc
    this kid isnt that hairy

  78. 78

…Why can't they just get them threaded? I do that and its less painfull and the hair grows out slower.

  79. 79

nice happy snappy tunes in the background. this is fucked up.

  80. 80

i'd like to know wtf eyelid skin looks like when you're 50 and you've been waxing your eyebrows for 40+ years…. Dermatologists surely would want to weigh in on this! Sag city… here we come!!

  81. poli says – reply to this

they make her look like an insect with those waxed eyebrows..

  82. 82

No biggie, the little girl wasn't insanely oppossed to it, she wanted it. And she was happy afterwards. She'll probably be doing the same thing a few years from now, and throughout her life. Young girls are getting fake nails nowadays, too, which to me hurts even more.

  83. 83

Re: jeanmarie – I understand your daughter's dilemma, seeing as I was a little hairier child due to my lineage. Doing it to prevent them from the teasing by cruel children is one thing. These people are doing it to their already pretty little girls so their kids can win crappy, fake gold trophies and money for their parents. These poor little girls are being taught that the most important thing is their looks and they will be judged based solely on that one attribute.

  84. 84

her eyebrows looked fine before, they were not bushy or anything . STUPID PAGEANT MOTHERS! LIVING THROUGH THEIR DAUGHTERS BECAUSE THEY ARE FAT AND GROSS

  85. 85

wtf since when does a 10 year old need an eyebrow wax. Her mom is crazy.

  86. 86

Um….Does anyone remember Jon Benet?? Jesus Wept

  87. 87

One of the many reasons I will NOT watch TLC anymore

  88. 88

that is the result of the f***ing fat mother who couldn't be miss America…SAD! beside that in my opinon I think that the skin of this girls is not ready for pulling off the strips….

  89. 89

However, I must say that if I was a little 10 year old and my mother said something to me like "Hey lets go to the salon get our nails, hair cut and eyebrows waxed I would say yes. But getting my brows waxed at 10 years old never really crossed my mind. I didn't even start waxing mine till I was 25 and even then I never really had bad eyebrows. I go now because I like how it feels and how I look when its done… and once you start you really cant stop. I do believe that the eyebrow waxing thing was totally the parents and it never even crossed that little girls mind.

  90. 90

Those mothers should be jailed for abusing their little girls.
    That show makes me sick.

  91. 91

I think her mom should pay more attention to her weight watcher's diet and a little less to her 10 year old's eyebrow hair.

  92. 92

my bff in school got hers waxed at 10 or 11 for a wedding - its not that weird

  93. 93

btw waxing your eyebrows is hardly "sexualising" (yes with an "s" not "z" - im not american) young girls - its teaching them to look after themselves
do you actually think a predator thinks "mmm her eyebrows are good" ? lol

  94. 94

Re: HellaD – This is not about a girl with a unibrow having her eyebrows waxed so she is not teased at school. This is about a mother sexualizing her daughter for her own gain. No matter how you look at it, its perverse and wrong. A ten year old child should be playing outside, scraping her knees, having real and imaginary friends, making mud pies. Not strutting around like a fully developed woman.

Wrong on so many levels. This is how deep rooted insecurities that lead to anorexia, bulimia, drug abuse etc. starts to take hold of such young kids.

  95. 95

Re: shortcakes85 – Of course they are. They are using their daughters to live out their own fantasies of being beautiful instead of the homely cows they are. It's like they are using their daughters to be live dolls in playing Princess.

  96. 96

Who cares, I could understand if the child was totally against it and they were holding her down and doing something she didn't want to do. Obviosely the girl enjoys doing pageants, yes the pain sucks, but that is the price of beauty.

  97. 97

if they keep doing that there wont be any hair left to pull out, she's only 10 years old! :( this world has gone crazy

  98. 98

agreed, waxing her eyebrows is totally unnecessary!

  99. 99

I hate, hate, hate these pageant shows and most importantly, the pageants themselves. I have a beautiful seven year old daughter who would probably have a good time competing. That said, there is no way I'm going to subject her to this and more. Hair pieces and extensions, $1000 dresses, pageant coaches, pounds of makeup. One mom said she kept her daughter alert and active by feeding her pixie sticks! Disgusting! The worst part is that the judges see these kids dolled up like strippers in New Orleans and they think it's appropriate and talk about how natural they look. They don't look natural!!! They look like air brushed dolls!

  100. 100

I must admit my daughter has been Nairing her legs since she was 6 because the kids were making fun of her. But to wax????? Ouch No way
