But that doesn't mean the franchise will go to infinity and beyond!

Tim Allen has signed a contract to reprise his role of Buzz Lightyear in a potential Toy Story 4 — if Pixar wants to go down that road.

We don't see why not! Toy Story 3 is making millions worldwide — over $560 million!

Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich says:

"I really tried my best to end the story of Andy and his toys and bring that story to a close in a really nice way at the end of ['Toy Story 3'].

"That being said, we know that people love the characters, love Woody and Buzz, and would hate to say good-bye to them completely. … We don't have any plans for (a fourth movie) — but we are trying to find ways to keep the characters alive."

Pixar already announced that the Toy Story gang will appear in a short film before Cars 2 which opens in June 2011.

Do U want to see another Toy Story movie?

Well, what else does he have on his plate?
He is an ex-con, after all. (Though obviously a well rehabilitated one. )

as much as i love toy story, no. i think they ended it perfectly and i don't want toy story to get overplayed and ruined

    3. 3

      no.
i want to wait 11 years like i did with the third one.

I don't see why not. TS3 was definitely amazing and ended perfectly, but I wouldn't opposed another film as long as they make it better than the last (gotta be hard). Perhaps a prequel?

YES, YES 1,000 TIMES YES !!!!! If you didnt see Toy Story 3 GO !!

    8. 8

no! Leave toy story ending at 3. There could not have been a more perfect ending.

    9. 9

I certainly would. I love Toy Story!!!

    10. 10

no… I wouldn't like to see another Toy Story movie… It was closed in a very nice and touching way… so I don't see the point of making another movie…

I loved Toy Story 3, and it really ended nicely. But, the toys have a new child now, and the story can go on……

      Haven't seen "Toy Story 3" yet. :(
But super psyched for "Cars 2"!

The trilogy began and ended wonderfully. There is no need for a Toy Story 4. Another TV series or short film series yes but the ending of Toy Story 3 was perfect and another movie would take away from something so good.

I would love a toy story 4…i think theres a million ways they could keep the characters alive! this movie was huge when i was about 9-10 and i grew up watchin it..id love my daughter to do the same bc she loves it too

    15. 15

NOOOO! toy story 3 had closure! even if it was 11 years later!

    16. 16

no, absolutely not. like i said to my sister when we left the theater after seeing toy story 3, you can't make a toy story movie without andy. sure you could continue a TV series with the new little girl, but making a new movie without Andy as the toys owner just wouldn't be right.

    17. 17

I love TS3. Made me teary.

    18. 18

IF there WAS a 4th one, I'd definitely see it but I think they ended it really well and think it doesn't really need a 4th.

Re: ihateperez77 – just sit her in front of the tv and watch them on dvd, that's no reason to shit up the Toy Story universe.

    20. 20

      Yeah, why not!
I love TS3 and Andy could go looking for all his old toys, when he has children!

    21. 21

i'd like to see a prequel more so than a sequel. something like how andy got woody or if andy's dad had him as a kid and they showed that story. but if it didn't happen that would be fine. TS3 ended the series perfectly

    22. 22

i LOVE toy story but no i dont think they should make another it ended perfectly. leave it be. =)

    23. 23

I would be SOOO pissed if they made another one !
this one was so good, possibly the best of them, and it ended SO perfectly.
The only way I could be ok with it, is if they waited like 5 years, and its about Andy's kids. But still, I think they should just leave it now. This one was amazing, and I don't want it to go on any longer!

    24. 24

As much as I love Toy Story, No I don't think they should make another one it ended just like it should have. Although I did miss a lot of the usual characters that were in it. I think they should make another Monster's Inc. I love that movie!!

    25. 25

No, Toy Story 3 ended things…it's time to let go. I'm down for seeing the toys in a short film though.

    26. 26

      JESUS CHRIST TOY STORY 4

    27. 27

they should honour this series and leave it to rest. it has already ended. and perfectly, i must say.
