Yeah Ozzie but all the fucking welfare queen baby mamas with eight kids by the time they're 24 manage to get acrylic nails, cell phones, cigarettes, booze and drugs while their kids pretty much eat shit. What's up with that?

    2. 2

      lool so truee!!

    3. 3

      Damn right, Ozzie!

    4. 4

For 10 bucks you can make plenty of grains, beans, and veg, even organic.

    5. 5

I'd rather eat organic shit than a chicken wing from KFC. He'd be changing his tune if he actually saw how that meat is raised.

      Funny quotation, though.

    6. 6

He's right. Healthy food is far too expensive for most people, specially the way things are. Truth is it's cheaper to buy cookies than fruit, and there are a lot of families struggling with money issues.

    7. 7

YEA, AND IF YOU'RE RICH YOU CAN SMOKE WEED, CRACK, AND DRINK TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT, RIGHT OZZIE? AS FOR $10 KFC TO FEED A LARGE FAM, MUST BE A PRETTY FUCKING ANOREXIC CLAN!!

    8. 8

yum, KFC! Damn Ozzy, Now I'm craving it.. HA!!

    9. 9

I love the Osbournes. They are real people and they say what they mean and mean what they say. All the very best to them!

    10. 10

I wholeheartedly agree! Fresh food is rediculously high priced. My mother and I shopped at whole foods, and we bought 1 cloth bag full of food, and it cost us $88. We're in a recession, and food costs a lot of money. If you only have $50 to your name, then you're going to buy the cheapest food possible.

    11. 11

No shit–I live in an area with farms in close proximity, and I still spent over $60 buying fresh fruit and veggies. What used to be 'cheap' is now a luxury food group–if 'they' really wanted people to feed their kids better then 'they' should figure out how to make it more affordable. I could have bought 5 cases of Spaghetti-O's for what those two bags of produce cost.

Re: Quichie – Don't forget that his brain is fried (just like the chicken).

    13. 13

He's right. I am on SSI and also diabetic. The food Im allowed/supposed to eat is the same things the Yuppies eat because its the In thing to do. With Yuppies its more about whats In then whats healthy. Anyway many of those foods are priced double (By other Yuppies) what other foods are so I am forced to eat other things making my doctor yell at me.

Thats what I get for working my ass off 60 hrs a week for 40 years paying taxes, A measly $979 a month.

    14. 14

The joke is on these organic sh@t people when they get old and die of nothing. LOL

    15. 15

Or you could buy a turkey and let thier huge stomachs shrink back to size…they will not starve.

    16. 16

Amen! He's right. I don't know why people are bitching about people who have money like Ozzie. He wasn't referring to himself just the fact. Celebs can afford the organic stuff a lot of us cant, but there are those out there that are aspirational and will go out and buy stuff they can't afford. I just think Ozzie is being real.

    17. 17

Where the hell can you get a bucket of KFC for 10.00?? Try 40.00! Its bloody expensive

    18. 18

He's right.. it's all well and good for people with disposable income to talk about eating healthy and organic. But the fact is, we are living in a recession and every penny matters to a lot of families. Many parents are working multiple jobs, while struggling to keep up with kids, and bills. Many families that were once considered middle class are now struggling to keep their children fed. Some families can't afford the time, the money or the effort it takes to eat healthy, organic food every day. Cheap food is unhealthy food and it is up to fast food giants and the FDA to make sure that restaurants live up to a reasonable health standard. The fast food corporations LOVE that people are so blinded. They would rather see their consumers turn on each other than turn on them! They would rather you say "only bad parents feed their kids fast food" (even though we all eat it) instead of saying "fast food is necessary for many people and those companies need to change and be more responsible." So instead of blaming welfare moms, or insisting organic food 'isn't that expensive' why not stand up to the fast food giants and demand that they change their ways in order to help the most vulnerable people in our society.

    20. 20

I love it, a classic quote!

    21. 21

Yeah right, $10 at KFC feeds two people, max. And a lot of farmer's markets are starting to take food stamps, so eat a fkn apple, people.

    22. 22

Wow, Ozzie thinking of the riff raff, nice of him!

    23. 23

Actually, you could easily feed a family of four a nice healthy meal for €10, rather than the crap they serve if KFC.

    24. 24

      25

What's up with all the welfare baby mama comments? Sorry haters, we're a middle class white family who LOVES us some KFC from time to time. If you're on welfare with a bunch of mouths to feed, you're NOT going to KFC I can promise you that …. you're goin to CHURCHES !!!!

    26. 26

Or maybe he could shit his piehole and put his money where his mouth is to feed the hungry children in his area. It's not like he's broke. Sharon is looking like she's been hitting up her share of KFC buckets doesn't she?

    27. 27

      i love ozzy!! so funny

    28. 28

Or some parents are too lazy to actually cook a nice, healthy meal.

    29. 29

Sad but true. That's the what the KFC's were hoping for along with all the other drive throughs. Sadly those families pay for it later with bad health.

    30. 30

So true. I hate it when stars preach stuff like "GO GREEN transform your home into a green home!" Uhh no, We do not make millions a year just by looking pretty and repeating lines given to us and faking human emotions in front of a camera (90% of hollywood can't even do it very well) So we can't just go out and buy this and that. Same thing with organic food..People forget a lot of people have a 9-5 job, We also have blue collars that work double that a day. People don't have time nor the money to eat a healthy 6 meals a day.

    31. 31

Also this is coming from a man who was drunk most of his life. Growing a garden is cheaper thanbuying Organic or KFC, but we have people who have lost jobs and have to safe money so its the only thing they can do. Hopefully they will think before the buy, but we all have to respect their their final choice.

    32. L-Mom says – reply to this

      32

CHURCHES = Any Church's Chicken outlet around … cheapest bucket o' fried yardbird on the planet!!! Also worth a note to the gardeners of the board … depending on the season AND land you live (If your lucky enough to OWN your own land and not some crowded apartment in city) NO, you cannot grow tomatoes or corn or beans. And another thing, to the experts who say veggie stands take foodstamps too? NOT EVERYONE watching their pennies lives on food stamps people … they pay cash just like you do. Damn the misinformed prejudices and judgment on this board!!! Oh but lemme guess .. you probably fancy yourselves as an earth loving peace activist, right? Yeah, I thought so.

    33. 33

For people saying that they should make healthy food cheaper, that's not how it works. It seems that it's expensive, but the fact of the matter is that unhealthy food is low-quality food, created with machinery and is deep fried until it's unrecognizable. You're paying what it's worth. When you pay $1 for a hamburger, think about how McD's is STILL making a profit off that burger! So, yes, I agree, not everyone can afford to buy organic shit, but people need to spend those 10 on whole grains and vegetables.

    34. 34

      very true

    35. 35

Besides, there's a difference between buying organic and buying fast food. It's not like you either buy one or the other. You don't have to buy organic, but you don't have to buy shitty food either! Second of all, KFC is disgusting.

    36. 36

      Re: L-Mom – s= so truee!!!!!!!

    37. 37

Re: catarina – Maybe you should go to the store with me, and I can show you that eating healthy can be cheaper than eating crap. I'm sick of people using the excuse that eating healthy is too expensive, because it's not! Eating out, even at KFC, will always be more expensive than cooking a wholesome meal.
Re: eyeh8twilight – Then don't shop at Whole Foods! You can get cheap produce from the supermarket. It's ridiculous, by the way. Maybe instead of your mum buying expensive veg, she should buy you a dictionary.

    38. 38

Mr. Brain damage and Ms. Gastric Bypass are now authorities on healthy living. OK

    39. 39

Very good points here, all of them.
I am a vegetarian (and BTW: a HUUUUUGE Ozzy fan!). My needs alone, being organic or what have you, sometimes exceed that of the other 4 members of my family put together (who are NOT vegetarian)! I am a full time student/Full time Momma, with next to no money. I try very hard to make healthy choices for my family, but it is HARD when you cannot afford it! I also try not to give in to my kids when they want junk food…one, because of my beliefs (you will NEVER find a bucket of KFC on my table), two because I know it's CRAP, and three because, yes, it does make me feel like a bad Mom. But it is really difficult to live up to that standard, especially financially. You gotta do what you gotta do.

    40. 40

Re: Prince Von A Hole – yep Im in the same boat as you, only diff is Im on a lowcarb diet and I end up buying alot of that stuff the yuppies buy. Luckily I live near alot of farms and can shop at there organic stands for much better prices then the G-store

    41. 41

I'm glad someone said it. Organic crap is fricking expensive as hell. I hate KFC, but just replce that with any other cheap fast food or junk food from the grocery store.

    42. 42

Ozzy never lies, but Ozzy is a dumb-ass!

    43. 43

      Ozzy is right on!

    44. 44

I changed to all organic, and my grocery bill went down by $50!! You can do it if you try!!

    45. 45

I 100% agree with him! Most people are tired after they get off work and don't have time or money to make a healthy meal so if they can buy KFC or a box of pizza for dinner than thats what they'll do. If you have the time and money to make an organic meal every night, than more power to you, but not everyone can!

      46

Why are people saying this is true? Nothing about this is true and its sad that people actually believe this shit. I personally think its just justification for plain laziness.
First of all a bucket of KFC is not $10.
Second of all you don't have to eat organic to be healthy. Go to your supermarket by some whole grain pasta a jar of tomato sauce and a head of lettuce. There you go: spaghetti and salad to feed a family for under $10 and its HEALTHY. There are so many dinners out there that utilize all the necessary food groups that are healthy for your children while being extremely affordable but its much easier to go through the KFC drive thu and cry about how its the recessions fault that you and your children are obese, pre-diabetic, and future cancer/heart disease victims. Wake up people.

    47. 47

Anyway, that depends on where you live. I don't buy my produce from a supermarket. I also don't eat meat, so my grocery budget is extremely low. It isn't expensive to eat healthy.

If you're a student on a limited budget, you could buy a lot of noodles and fresh veggies, spice up the noodles with those and you have a healthier soup. I'm a student and am known for having less than one dollar in my account. If I can do that, anyone can.

    48. 48

Re: xcalibur – u r sooooooooo rite xcal so rite. you cant get a bucket of kfc for 10 buck especially in cali where O O is. thanks for setting em strate

    51. 51

Re: ash!!!COLON!!!* – Thank you, I thought everyone on here was a complete idiot. I haven't lived in the US in a while, but I do remember being in college and living on pasta, which cost me about $10 a week. You can get a big ass bag of generic pasta, a big ass jar of generic sauce and a head of broccoli or a bag of frozen corn, or SOMETHING healthy for $5. Throw in some chicken pieces, and it's $8. It's probably a tad high in sodium to buy cheap sauce, but it doesn't even compare to the calories, fat, saturated fat and sodium in KFC. Buy a package of ground turkey, add a can of tomatoes and a can of beans with some seasoning, and you have chilli for $5-6.
A healthy meal isn't expensive - people are just LAZY.

    52. 52

Also, why is everyone bringing up organic? Healthy food doesn't have to be organic, you idiots.
At least in the US, when you idiots get fat and clog your arteries, it's not up to the tax payers to take care of you. In the UK, we have to pay for assholes like you.

    53. 53

Nowhere in the world you can feed a family with 10 dollars at KFC.
In my country we have KFC and there you can buy a meal for one person with that money. A bucket costs about 35 dollars and you can buy a lot of stuff with that money. If I had 10 dollars and a family to feed I would cook beans and whole rice with a simple lettuce salad. That's healthier and very cheap.

    54. 54

I get food stamps. $200 per month. I only have to feed myself. I'm a vegetarian and I eat very well. I have fruits and veggies every day, and I also do low carb. I always have $50 to $100 left over each month, and I live in New York. I think it helps that I don't eat meat or buy dairy besides butter and yogurt.

I agree with Ozzy's sentiment that healthier things are more expensive compared to junk, but the way he worded it was poor.

You don't need to buy organic to eat better. Just by switching from white flour to whole wheat, you make a difference. And even though vegetables and fruits seem more expensive, they're better for you in the long run. So what what matters more, money or health?

Type 2 diabetes can be cured by dietary changes. Imagine what other problems it could solve. Hypertension, ADD/ADHD are two that come to mind as artificial colorings/flavorings/sugar contribute to hyperactivity.

Other things you can do that won't break the bank: eliminate MSG, don't consume HFCS or corn syrup, avoid pre-packaged foods (sodium content tends to be high, like with ramen noodles). If you want noodles, try tofu shirataki stir fry instead of reaching for the ramen.

    55. 55

Re: ash!!!COLON!!!* – where is the protein in this spaghetti meal. your children need protein for maximum brain development.

    56. 56

I just love Ozzy. It doesn't even matter what he says. It's always either funny, true or both. And we have to give this guy some credit. Anyone else with his lifestyle would have died at the age of 30. He must know all the secrets to living long.

    57. 57

Re: musikbox – If you have so much left over each month, the welfare system is giving you far too much money. I do appreciate that you actually take care of yourself and are the only person on here concerned about sodium content, but you aren't making any of us feel better about the welfare system.

Re: ash!!!COLON!!!* – Hey, I just got back from KFC..Bucket of chicken..4 sides for 13.59..just sayin..AND ITS OH SO YUMMY

    62. 62

I wasn't going to comment, but I figured if I were going to ever comment on this site it should be about something that matters, like health. I find it hard to believe the people here preaching health and not eating fast food, never eat fast food. I completely can see where he is coming from, sometimes it is cheaper to eat fast food than it is to eat healthy. He is not saying people should do it all the time or whatever. My family of 4 can eat at McDonalds for only $4 every Tuesday, because they run deals that makes kids meals $1. I would not even be able to buy a gallon of milk for $4, and with McDonalds we get a serving of milk, fruit, and meat. You're telling me that I'm going to have all those things with $4 at the grocery? No way. And for people who keep saying it's healthier to eat from the grocery (which I am not debating, I am well aware it is), when you have to choose between having healthier meals or keeping a roof for your children, which one are you choosing? Sometimes having immediate needs fulfilled is just as important as the long run needs.

    63. 63

That's the first SMART thing I've ever heard Ozzy mumble.

    64. 64

I love the Ozzy-but where in the heck can ya get a 10.00 bucket of chicken? No where! One can eat healthy if they choose too. Let's see 99 cent store carries all kinds of rice, veggies, beans etc. They even have produce. Target has cheap prices and some of the stores have added produce. I must say there are a lot of lazy people out there that haven't taken the time to shop for these items-it is a cop out for those who just keep feeding their families crap and are plain ass lazy. Yeah just keep feeding your family all that fast food and then wonder why they are obese or drop dead from a heart attack-seriously, clue in.

    65. 65

sorry but you can buy vegetables very cheaply, asda smart price veg may not be as 'pretty' as the organic ones but they are cheap and 99% of the time less expensive than take away

    66. 66

Re: Serena Loves Mario – your comment makes no sense. I I don't consider $200 per month alot of money. I'm able to afford it because I don't eat meat and dairy and I budget very carefully. Plus I have a food allergy (eggs), so it makes things easier as I can't have cake, cookies, ice cream, some pasta, and many other foods.

If I weren't a vegetarian, if I didn't have an allergy, I would not be able to afford the food I do now. It would be very difficult.

And for those who are wondering, I get food stamps because I developed a serious illness suddenly and I cannot work. I don't have eight children, a fancy car, nice clothes, or any of that stuff.

I feel crummy that at the age of 25, I had to stop working, but I paid into the system too. I had been working since I was a teenager prior to getting sick.

    67. 67

I hate those people. Sharon Osbourne is a BITCH!

    68. 68

That's true what Ozzy Said, Organic food is just too expensive! Can't we have Industrial Organic Food?

and to the schoolyard bully who first!-ed above: Ozzy is i'm sure talking about middle class folk! Hate has No Place.

    69. 69

This is why I always SWALLOW whenever performing oral sex. And it is why I never understand it when I see the poor buying another bag of Funyuns.

Swallowing is the most cost-effective way to get all of one's proteins (and talk about "organic"!!). Why, a packed leather bar or even just one abundantly-productive source can keep a person well-nourished for days.

And I DO think of those families on a tight budget! Why even waste the money on a bucket of fried bones when there's plenty of proteins available for free?? And KFC, pound-for-pound (if we're being honest) is mostly bones. You see the poor hungry slobs sucking on the bones looking for more meat. Its sad.

All those skills and they waste them on chicken bones?

We are mammals and as such we ought to look to those nutrients which we ourselves were designed to provide.

And its all around us! For FREE usually! (Not even pennies-per-serving)!

    70. 70

Re: Wenchtits – I've seen Food Inc, but I think eating non-organic produce is far better than KFC!

    71. 71

Right on OZ, tell it like it is!!

    72. 72

Another thing that should be mentioned, is that the non-healthy fast food is not satisfying. Your body is not receiving anything that will keep it running optimally, and therefore it acts like any other drug - you get your high, but then youll soon be feeling a low. Solution - more food. So if you are continually choosing fast food, you will need more and more of it, whereas eatting healthy nutrient rich meals will fill you up and last longer. That right there will save you money.

    73. 73

Re: AshleyDuh – I don't know about the other healthy-eating supporters that have commented, but I haven't eaten fast food in over 2 years, and I'm very committed to not eating it. Once in a while I do eat something that isn't that healthy, but it's usually something I cook myself and I know what's in it. I love cooking, though, and am very picky, so eating out at fast food places would be difficult for me. I'm not naturally thin, but I do it more because I worry about my health, because my family has a history of heart disease.
I do agree that you probably can't feed 4 children for $4 if you were to cook. I've been outside the US for so long, I have no idea what things cost, but it's very sad that you can't buy a gallon of milk for $4 - grocery stores need to make an effort to reduce costs. Maybe the UK grocery stores make a bigger effort, but eating healthy here is very affordable. You can even find organic, local produce for nearly the same cost as non-organic.

Re: Serena Loves Mario – Serena - see, this is the judgment people are talking about and are sick of. Do you know why MusicBox receives food stamps? Could it be illness or a disability that prevents him/her from working a steady job? I don't have to know Music to see that of he/she receives 200 a month in stamps and only has him/herself to support, its likely do to a debilitating status in his/her physical well being, making work or income I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E. That being the case, people like MusicBox are EXACTLY who my taxes should help support in America. And if he/she has leftover stamps, then God Bless him/her for that! I wish everybody would learn to live within their means, and perhaps we wouldn't be paying out so much in federal dollars to welfare recipients as it is. in Please stop presuming so much about the welfare system you know so little about, but so very quick to pass judgment on.

      Re: Serena Loves Mario

So true. People are lazy if they think they are forced to eat unhealthy. I think the msg, oils is also damaging the brain besides the obvious weight problem.

    77. 77

I COMPLETELY AGREE!!!! People always judge others for not eating so "organic" and healthy as they should but the truth of the matter is that until they can lower down the prices so that a bag of 5 vegetables won't cost $30 then more people could do it. He's too funny though…lol.

Oh you're right! I forgot the meat! I guess a big greasy bucket of dead chickens is the biggest bang for my buck! Oh well…

By the way, there's plenty of ways to get the recommended amount of protein in your diet other than eating poor helpless animals ;)

    79. 79

FOOD STAMPS ARE FREE MONEY FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!!! People who make less than..what is it 15,000 a year (?) can apply for them! That means students, the elderly, runaways, single moms, struggling families and hippies can get free shit from the government!!!! We are lucky enough to live in a society where we have a safety net for people so the homeless and the down on their luck don't starve to death on our streets. That same safety net allows college students to save more of their cash for booze or tuition payments and use food stamps to buy frozen pizzas or w.e. So while all of you have mommy and daddy paying for you food can look down on people who use food stamps, there are millions of people getting free money from the government….and free money is awesome. (i mean its not really free, we all pay for it in our taxes, blah blah blah tax law..ect ect ect) but the principle remains the same. free shit = awesome.

Unless that is what you meant… then I stand by my previous statement haha :)

    81. 81

Re: Serena Loves Mario – I was only saying, all the judgment on this subject is unfair, you just said you sometimes eat unhealthy. Unhealthy is unhealthy no matter if it's from fast food places or not. I also love to cook, but to be honest sometimes I have to sacrifice in order to know I will be able to get other bills paid. No matter how much you guys want to say it isn't true, fast food places make it a lot easier to afford their food than the grocery does. If I am having to choose if my kids get less healthy meals or if they will lose their basic needs, I am choosing the less healthy meals. By no means is my family eating out every night, or even every week for that matter, but what Ozzy said is true. Maybe it does not apply in all scenarios, but in a lot it does. In the end, I think everyone wants their family to be healthy, so preaching people are just lazy and that's why they go to fast food is out of line. You have no right to cast judgment on people, you do not know their reasoning for why they eat what they do or why they are on welfare, or for any other reason. I read your other posts, and a lot of the stuff you said is not true based on prices I see at the grocery each week. I am not making a spaghetti meal big enough for my family, and especially not adding chicken and broccoli to it for $8, it is not gonna happen.

not true we went to popeye's and got my dad a meal and it was $9 for 3 pieces of chicken and if all 3 of us would have got something i'm sure it would have been $30. we could have made our own "fried chicken" in the oven and been healthier for less. no excuses, sorry. when i worked a grocery i used to see people on stamps buying carts of frozen food or steaks.

Re: L-Mom – Oh, shut up L-Mom. I know plenty about the welfare system and THE ONLY thing I said was that I think it's wrong that someone is given $200 per month when they only spend $100-150 of that money on food. When she responded and said why she received food stamps, I felt much better that the remaining money was, most likely, not going to booze and cigarettes, as it would in the case of many welfare recipients. I do realise she is receiving food stamps because of a disability, and I think people in her condition should be given government help.
Don't tell me to stop passing judgement, when you're judging me and assuming I know nothing about the welfare system. Do you think I've never been at the grocery store, standing behind someone paying with food stamps who is also spending $50 on cigarettes and liquor, and looks perfectly able to work?
Sorry, but you're not "healthy", as you claim, if you eat KFC once a month. By feeding that to your children, you're telling them it's okay to slowly kill themselves on fried, fatty foods. Why don't you get them started smoking at an early age, too?

Re: olivergray – Growing a garden isn't rocket science. Even I managed a nice one this year, and it hasn't been totally warm where I am right now. Seeds are cheap. A little fertilizer, water, and presto. No pesticides.

Re: AshleyDuh – When I say "unhealthy", I'm referring to something like risotto, made from scratch, with low-sodium broth, not a burger with 50g of fat. The only fat is coming from olive oil, which really isn't unhealthy at all, and a bit of parmesan and heart-healthy margarine. Also, it's packed with vegetables, so it's much better than a value meal. There is absolutely no way anything I cook could be as bad as what McDonald's is serving. So, I suppose I shouldn't have used the word unhealthy, so I'll rephrase… Occasionally I eat things that aren't low in fat, but I never go over my daily recommended allowance of calories and fat, which you can do in a single meal at McDonalds.
Did you miss the entire point of my last post? I was saying it's sad, not on your part, that you can't buy a gallon of milk for $4 and the grocery stores need to make an effort to reduce prices on food. I can guarantee you, though, that for under $10 you can make a wholesome meal for a family.

$19.99 for 15 pieces, only chicken, or $36.99 for 15 pieces and the works with it.

Re: AshleyDuh – To prove a point, I went to Safeway's site to see how much it would cost for the meal you claim is impossible for $10. I'm even using San Francisco prices, which are higher than most places. Frozen broccoli (1lb): $1.50, Safeway pasta (1lb): $0.99 (or 1lb whole wheat pasta for $1.50), Ragu pasta sauce $1.25, 4lbs frozen chicken breast $10.99, and a gallon of low-fat milk $2.89. So, the total is $3.74 for pasta, broccoli and sauce for a family of 6. You'd only use 1lb of the 4lbs, so with chicken, that's $6.49. Add the milk, and it's $9.38!!! If you want whole wheat pasta, it's $9.89!

Re: Serena Loves Mario – …ya but after 10 hours of work, soccer practice, homework ect, do you really have the TIME??? Do you have the ENERGY??? Because time and energy are money! If you have to come home from work an hour earlier just to go to the grocery store, buy all the stuff, bring it home, make it then clean it up, is it really cheaper than grabbing cheap food on the way home?????? Time, money and effort are just as important as cost. I grew up with a single mom because my father died when I was a little kid and sometimes, even we, an upper middle class family, would be forced to eat fast food because my mom didn't have the energy to cook us a full meal at the end of the day. Why should she?? Maybe you are ok with watching your mother fall asleep over a hot stove at 7:00pm after a full day of work, but I'm not.

Re: Serena Loves Mario – Serena, if you went to all that trouble for pasta and broccoli trying to prove a point with a bunch of nameless anonymous posters on the internet??? Honey you've got waaaay too much time on your hands!!! You sure your not a welfare queen yourself behind that pc screen suckin' up all our tax dollars while shoving junk food up your pie hole? GET A JOB ALREADY, LOLOLOLLLLL!!!

    90. 90

Re: FemaleFilmMajor – Not having the time and energy are valid excuses, so I completely agree with you. Cooking being more expensive than fast food wasn't a valid excuse, which is why I had an issue with so many posts.
I recently watched a documentary in which a family of 4 went to the Burger King drive-thru, and the mother claimed the $14 they spent was cheap and she couldn't cook for less than that, which is complete BS. They were struggling financially, and Burger King every night certainly isn't the answer, especially when it costs $14!

      Re: L-Mom

Well said Serena sometimes has good stuff to say but for the most part is a troll that cares little for humans.

    92. 92

      Re: Serena Loves Mario

I agree with some of the stuff you spit out but your ignorant spew is quite frankly irritating. Not all people that get food stamps don't work, many do but just need help eating.

Re: catarina – u said it!! Thats exactly my problem! single mom on social security disability for an illness and a dead beat dad!!!!

      Re: Serena Loves Mario

How do you have time when you spend all your time on here. Face it you are just another degenerate without friends. Pathetic.

      Re: L-Mom

Amen this Serena character is quite the loser. The only exercise this person gets is in the fingers typing. Pathetic.

Hello? Beans are healthy, full of fiber & protein.
$10. will buy a lot of beans and some healthy vegetables.
Shop for in-season vegetables at local farmer's markets.
FORGET the fried fatty chicken that causes heart disease and is full of antibiotics and pesticides.

    97. 97

Re: Prince Von A Hole – OK, Grandpa. How many times can you say, "Yuppie". It IS more expensive to eat healthy. But, I make the choice to feed my family healthy meals - I need to cut coupons and shop the best deals on produce, etc… in order to do this - but they are worth it. Also, we RARELY eat out.

    98. 98

Ugh Sharon. way to be a role-model. Let's encourage America and the U.K to get even fatter and eat shit.

The 'I eat fast food because it is cheap' excuse is just that. An excuse. Anyone can eat healthy. Grow your own fruit and veg. Seeds cost a couple of $. Running / walking is free. No one needs to eat a bucket of that fried shit.

    99. 99

Organic food is not cheaper than crappy food! Even vegetables are more expensive than a bag of chips!

I'm sure he means well, but I can't stand it when rich people make comments about what it's like to not have money. Just because some people can't afford "healthy organic shit" does not mean they're eating at KFC. This quote had the opposite effect of what was intended.
