Although rumors swirled that Mel Gibson would flee the country as he became the subject of a domestic violence investigation, the actor's rep claims "there’s no truth" to those reports.
Mel is supposedly focusing on work - although we're not sure who would want him!
The disgraced actor will have to visit Australia another time. For now, he better face the music!

I'm glad he's not leaving. He's no more screwed up than some of the others in Hollywood. That 'girlfriend' of his should be the one doing a little explaining.
