Sarah McLachlan Hopes For Lilith Fair Next Year!

| Filed under: Music MinuteSarah McLachlan

Who knows? 2011 could be a much better year for them!

Even though the revival of Lilith Fair this year has been less than ideal, founder Sarah McLachlan is determined for it to work, and intends on doing it again in 2011!

She reveals:

“I should preface everything I say by saying I’m a live-in-the-moment kind of girl. We’re planning on doing it next year, talking about a five-year plan. Do any of us know where we’re going to be in 15 years? We’re all here right now, and that’s sort of where I’m at. We’re sort of trying to figure out what all the possibilities are this year. We came out loud and proud with a huge roster, with a lot of great artists and a lot of diversity. And came into a tricky time in touring.”

We're thrilled that you haven't let the tour's problems get you down, bb! We imagine re-starting something of this magnitude has its growing pains!

We'll keep our fingers crossed for next year! Keep your head up!

Re: crippler – really. Enough already. No one is coming. No guy wants to go to this and the 'girl' performers cannot figure out why? Because your bleachers are full of lezzies, and too much hairy girlpower.

why cant she understand that the time for lilith fair has come and gone well over 10 years ago. the music industry and society as a whole have changed so much since then. heck, i dont know any woman who are interested in a womens festical these days.

No one wants to watch a bunch of dykes licking each other's bloody twats all day.

But it's not just this tour. Most all of the tours are down this year. Too high a price in hard times, and too much the same music. Time for a change. PH, talk about the art revolution (art music film tv lit etc.) Time for something new and exciting.

Who wants to attend a concert surrounded by smelly women who don't use deodorant or shave their pits and legs. No one cares for these lesbian events anymore.
