Tim Robbins Records An Album About Having A MidLife Crisis

Poor Tim Robbins.

He's just trying to make sense of things after his split with long-time companion and mother of his children, Susan Sarandon.

The 51-year-old actor has recently admitted to having a midlife crisis, saying, "I think we all go through something, it's inevitable. It's when you pass 40, inherently we double our age when we think about life. You start thinking about how many years you've got left. 'What the hell am I doing here?' I asked myself, 'What is it that will make you happy? What is it you have not done that you will regret not doing?' "

Apparently, it was recording an album.

Which he did and thought about calling The Midlife Crisis Album, but added "that's not going to sell any copies. Then I thought, 'How about Songs of Love and Misery'?"

Wow, sounds like he's been through some tough times.

When asked whether or not he thinks he'll find love again, the actor replied, "Let's hope it's out there."

For your sake, Tim, we hope so too.

I love Tim Robbins….like his roles, and think he is intelligent

you're not too far away from 40 mario and you haven't experienced half the things Tim Robbins has whether it be marriage, children or simply life experiences……..

  3. 3

He will NEVER do better than Susan Sarandon.

Poor Andy Dufresne. He misses Red.

Someone posted he will never do better than Susan Sarandon? WTF does that even mean? Like personality-wise? You know her do you? Or in the looks dept. She's good looking for her age, but I'm sure Tim can get a hotter and younger woman. He's just grieving- that's what happens after long-term relationships end.

I thought he was dating Meg Ryan?

Poor Tim. I am sure eventually he will get his groove back.

OK to just float along the river for a bit, imo.

Sheesh, buy a red sportscar, get a hot 20-year old girlfriend and get over it.
