NJ Housewife's Sordid Past To Become A TV Series???

Many of you fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey understand what we mean when we say "the book." For those of you not in the know, during the first season of the of series, the housewives learned of a book that detailed the criminal activity of cast mate Danielle Staub. This book is what ignited the now infamous table-flipping episode that sent the whole show sky-rocketing into reality show royalty.
Well now, two veteran Hollywood drama TV writers want to take this book and make it into a series! The book, Cop Without a Badge, is being shopped around to several TV networks…and they are all seriously considering it!
No word yet if BRAVO is one of those networks, but we're sure they probably are. Gotta keep this sort of thing in the family you know!

Well she didn't write the book and it does tell details (from what I understand) about her past. More importantly it tells of more than 2 things that are true: Arrested and Name change. Since she didn't write the book, would she get money from a movie? Or would the author of the book? Frankly, I am not interested in anything that promotes this delusional individual BUT if it portrays her as the moron she clearly is and IF she doesn't get any money from it - - I say go for it.

Re: Britney Spears is a Joke – I think she could get money, unfortunately. Most films have the "this film is not based on actual events or real people" message, and I think it's for legal purposes, so someone can't claim it was based on their life and then sue the film's makers. We all know she's complete scum and was involved in the kidnapping. She called the parents of their victim and demanded money!
