the government doesn't give 2 shits what the American citizens of this country need - simply what all the illegals want.

  3. 3

The Obama administration is a joke. Where is the public outcry and celebrity telethons to raise money because he has done NOTHING? The liberal media is protecting him.

  4. buck says – reply to this

the gulf is just one more thing Obama has fucked up….2 more years to go and it can't come soon enough.

It's funny how it took 1 day for everyone to come together for Haiti but it takes 3 months for people to start doing something like this for our own country. I think I only heard about the floods in Tennessee maybe once. I think its time we start caring more about our own country than taking care of others.

this is a govt. website, wheres the petition….

  7. 7

To sign the petition you need to go to www.restorethegulf.COM

Perez, please let everyone know to go to WWW.RESTORETHEGULF.COM to save the gulf!

OH, PLEASE, celebrities are getting together for the GULF after 80 something days AND THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING?????? and are they AWARE that the WHITE HOUSE and CONGRESS does not listen to the people of this country???? The majority of this country did not want Health Care Reform, it went through anyway. The majority of this country SUPPORTS Arizona, Doesn't matter, the DOJ is suing Arizona. If a Lot of people sign that petition, the Gov't might do even LESS in the GULF! Instead of a PETITION, why arent celebrities getting together to help raise money for those who aren't getting money yet from BP or can't get the needed paperwork together that BP needs? How about doing PSAs for communities that don't have oil but still have lost their tourism money and might not be covered? A petition for the gov't-THAT IS ALL THEY COULD THINK OF??????

  10. 10

Better yet, with their big heads, why don't they go down there and soak up the oil with their big heads? It might work for you too Mario.

  11. 11

You put the WRONG LINK in the post!!!

Please change the link to restorethegulf.COM !!! You are sending people to restorethegulf.GOV..the government's site and NOT where the petition is!

  12. 12

Well it took them long enough. Celebrities are just getting onboard now??? And why aren't Brad and Angelina in this psa? They have a home in New Orleans and Brad made it plain what he thinks of Bush's record on Katrina. FAIL!

  13. 13

ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME!!! where has hollywood been during this whole fiasco? if this happened when bush was in office forget it…ud see clooney and pitt both down there cleaning up but since its obama everyone is hush hush. and thanks BP for ruining our oceans!!!!!!!! stupid IDIOTS

  14. 14

A million thanks for posting this!

Re: buck – Got your head up your ASS still huh, Buck?
You call securing $20 billion for the losses of people effected by this a "fuck up"?
What else do you expect him to do? ??
This horrendous mess is because of BP's greed and gross negligence, not the Obama administration you narrow minded idiot!
You want to blame an administration, blame the DEREGULATORS!
    aka Bush/Cheney!

  16. 16

To Italianxo, thanks to BP for ruining your oceans?? You are aware that where the oil is spilling from is actually designed by an American designer right??! I think you need to do your research and look back home for someone to blame. There is no denying that this disaster is bad, but the U.S. always looks for someone to blame but themselves.

Re: supersongbird – As a person THAT ACTUALLY LIVES HERE (in Louisiana), thanks but no thanks. Keep your LIBERAL asses out of here. We did not need any of you before, and we damn sure don't need you now. Thses are the same people that push for the drilling bans, and now wnat to act like they give a fuck. It took your boy 34 days to show his face here, all the while his people were tellin anyone that would listen (the MAINSTREAM MEDIA) that it took Bush 3 days to come after Katrina. You notice that the only time he showed up was when the vote buying allegations poped up?? THEN he comes down. Hasn't been herre since June 3, but he sure can take some nice vacations. Stop insulting us with this fake concern, leave us alone, and as usual, WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT.

    Re: justtfax – Yeah right.
The majority of this country did not want to get into two fucking wars either.
Compare THAT to healthcare for all and these backward AZ laws!
Seems the majority of people in this country obviously are so busy being brainwashed by Fox news propaganda and do not know any better than to realize what is right for this country!

ANYONE WHO BACKS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS EITHER WEALTHY, HEARTLESS AND GREEDY-OR CLUELESS, GULLIBLE AND STUPID!
Which are you-or ALL OF THE ABOVE?

  19. 19

Re: bite me – Oh really?
So you live there how's the devastation from Katrina still working out for you?
When did Bush do something for those poor people! You want Obama's government to stay out of everything, now you think he should DO something?
Can't have it both ways asshole!
Are you out of your mind??

ANYONE WHO BACKS THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS EITHER WEALTHY, HEARTLESS AND GREEDY-OR CLUELESS, GULLIBLE AND STUPID!

My "liberal ass" be down there this fall to volunteer! Nice to see you lol!

It's about time. I agree: the OBAMA administration is a joke. This is ridiculous. People need to get together and do something about all the injustice going on. This OIL SPILL was and still is one of the worst catostrophes and very little has been done. It almost seems as if the public has forgotten about it. Glad that you're posting this Perez!

  21. 21

wrong site listed…the petition is WWW.RESTORETHEGULF.COM not .gov!

Re: bite me – You and your state can't take care of wiping your ass on your own, but you sure as hell whine about your fucking jobs being lost like its the only fucking thing that matters. Fuck your jobs. Save your coast and direct your pathetic anger at the oil companies and officials that let this happen in the first place, you asshole.
