The Donald Is Suing An Airport

What the Donald wants, the Donald usually gets!

Donald Trump has filed a lawsuit against the Palm Beach International Airport in a attempt to stop a planned expansion on the facility.

See, the airport is near one of his many luxurious homes, and though he probably spends a total of 5 days a year at this house, he isn't such a fan of the assess noise and associated pollution from jet engines that is sure to accompany the expansion.

His lawsuit has effectively put plans on hold, but whether he gets his way or not really depends on how much money the airport stands to get by adding a second runway.

Because in the end, it's all about the money, right?

He's probably acting out of good faith for other nearby residents, who don't have the power to sue an airport with any effect.

maybe they should add in a few slot machines and call it the "Donald Trump" wing…

  3. 3

bullshit. this is a matter for the city council or local government to fucking VOTE on or decide their way not some corporate toupee to command

What's "assess noise" douchebag? I think it's time to fire your sister.

  5. 5

Interesting considering all the eyesores he's built that have ruined the views of people who spent good money to get them in NYC. Not to mention all the beautiful land he's destroyed with those awful golf courses. I suppose that's just business though.

dead squirrel is still on his head

    assess or excess? really?

'assess noise and associated pollution'—ASSESS??? You mean EXCESS, you dumbass Barbara or Juanita or Maria or Chiquita–whichever Hispanic woman who doesn't fking know her English posted this!!

It totally sounds like Mario was telling her what to write, and her non-English-speaking ass typed in what she thought it sounded like instead of the correct word.

I have absolutely nothing against Hispanics or people of any other foreign race (as long as they're LEGAL!!), but you have NO business 'writing' a blog in English if you don't fking know the language!! I swear, this site and its millions of typos and simple grammatical errors make me so angry–really, if you're going to insist on hiring your inbred and illiterate family and friends, Pervez, would it really be that hard to invest in hiring a proofreader?? Please??

Lol, assess and excess aren't even homophones, lol. Homophone misuse is forgivable but these two words are not a homophone pair, meaning they aren't even pronounced the same. Oh well, I guess everyone is entitled to a mistake every now and then.

Re: JBWOWW – Ok, not cool. Confusing one word for another does not warrant you disrespect a group of people and their culture. Language is socially constructed, just as American English was socially constructed. American English is not standard English. And let's not forget that English is derived mainly from Greek and Latin. My point is that for you to denounce someone's culture because of an error is ignorant and foolish. And why bring up citizenship? Are you legal? Why? Because the people who stole this land and then made a law stating that it belonged to them and their descendants and if the actual inhabitants of the land ever tried to claim it as their land once again they would be considered illegal? I'll answer for you, in this system, yes, that's the only justification you need and that's good enough for the masses. Have your citizenship, but don't you dare sit there with a sense of entitlement and think you are superior to others. Keep it about the common error and not about culture, citizenship, or language.

Yes, because a handful of moneyed winter property owners should take precedence over the need to expand an airport used by everyone. These owners knew where they bought. If these were average bungalows, they'd already be levelled with the owners being forced to take what was offered.

the planes have always flown over this end of the island palm beach is on so this was known when trump bought mar-a-largo for a song. this is and has always been the less desirable part of palm beach to own a home, the planes have always been on that flight plan.
