We think he can handle it!

Director Martin Scorsese, writer Terence Winter and rock god Mick Jagger are rumored to be teaming up with HBO once again for a period drama series project entitled History of Music.

The series is being dubbed a "rock 'n roll epic" which follows two friends through 40 years in the music business.

The project is based on Mick's idea, which originated as a feature, and it was first pitched at Disney and then at Paramount where it was set up three years ago with Scorsese set to direct.

But now HBO wants to make a deal with Paramount to develop a pilot based on the idea. Nothing is set in stone yet with deals still under negotiation, but it sounds promising!

What do U think?

Oh, gee. Marty will breath so much easier now that you've weighed in.

Did your mamacita do meth while you were stewing in her womb, Mario?

It would be the pinnacle if they dot their i's and cross all their historic t's, and could be an invaluable legacy. If it's a quasi-fictional setting, it remains to be seen, but still great viewing.

Is Scorsese only Three Feet Tall?

Shine A Light totally sucked for a Scorese film. He is such a music connisseur you'd think he'd say fuck off to anyone who tries to tell him what to do but it apparently doesn't work that way. If he can do it his way it will be awesome. If he plays puppet to someone else it might as well be some undergrad's thesis. B-O-R-I-N-G

He already did "The History of the Blues" unenlightened one.

Scorsese is reaaallly good with music. The soundtracks to his films are always very cool, and he's done music documentaries before, as Re: B.4.I.Jump – mentioned. No Direction Home, about Bob Dylan, and The Last Waltz, about The Band's last performance on Thanksgiving 1976, are amaaaazing too and everyone should watch them. With the latter, I could have done with less Robbie Robertson and more Rick Danko!!

You might want to try looking him up on wikipedia or IMDB and familiarize yourself with his resume before you go off all half cocked. At first, I thought you just looked like an ignorant twat, Perez, but with every word that you grunt out of your fat piggy mouth, it seems that you are just proving it.

Never mind being only 3 feet tall. What are those things over his eyes? Can't he afford to have them removed?

Sounds super lame! Just watch the PBS documentary History of Rock n Roll. It's AMAZING! It starts at folksy black harmonica music and goes all the way to Electronica. I mean this shit gives you the entire history of modern day music.
