Robocop Remake Canceled!

It seems someone came to their senses!
Although it had already been put on hold due to financial troubles at MGM, Darren Aronofsky's Robocop remake has been canceled.
An industry source said:
"(RoboCop is) gone. Kaput. Cancelled. It was one of the first casualties. (Aronofsky) has lost interest anyway, I believe. (I) think we're all just going to have to be happy with the three RoboCop movies that are out there."
If it's not broken, don't fix it!

I doubt Aronofsky has lost interest. He still would have done it if MGM paid the bill. Anyways, why don't they wait at least 30 years for these remakes. Let our computer technology advance a little more. Otherwise, we have these exact same clones floating around.
