Arcade Fire + Terry Gilliam = Indie Heaven

Throw away your neon bibles and step out of the imaginarium: The Arcade Fire and Terry Gilliam are coming to Youtube!

On Thursday, August 5th at 10 p.m, Youtube will stream The Arcade Fire’s live Madison Square Garden concert, which is being directed by the highly imaginative filmmaker Terry Gilliam.

The combination of The Arcade Fire’s alluring, haunting music along with Gilliam’s ability to create perplexing, beautiful imagery should result in a spectacular, memorable show.

All the hipster fun will kick off a new online concert series on Youtube, Unhinged, which will attract audiences who aren’t cool enough to attend an actual concert.

That’s okay, though. We’re still totally pumped!
