We'd groan about Zac Efron starring in a Nicholas Sparks movie, except we really don't care what movies he does, as long as he keeps doing them!
Zaquisha is slated to star in The Lucky One, the latest Sparks novel to be written for the big screen. Zac will be playing a Marine who returns home from Iraq in search of a mysterious woman.

But God help Nicholas Sparks if this thing ends in death like all his other books. (Actually, as long as Zac isn't the one whose dying, we're cool!)

the past few nicholas sparks movies were nowhere as good as the books. hopefully this one will be different.
and he doesn't have to shave his hair because in the book it's kind of shaggy.
this is bad casting. in the book, logan is suppose to be around 28-31 years old, this guy still looks 16.
i like this book and i was hoping they would cast better than this.

ok…hate to be a spoiler but have any of you actually READ the book?? the WHOLE thing?? someone definitely dies in the end (HELLO??? It's Nicholas Sparks!!!)–won't say who but death is definitely eminent for a main character…sorry kids

Aww! Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite authors, I admire him so much! I remember watching Zac in High School Musical, so yeah, I think he's got the emotional thing going for him. Especially after that trailer for Charlie St. Cloud, that looked for emotional and I think he portrayed his part exceptionally.

Efron playing a marine…totally ridiculous!!! Nobody is going to buy that one. Marines are rough and tough, and trained to be naturally hardcore. All that Efron can do is look pretty. The movie will flop, just like St. Cloud. Efron's teen girl fans don't want to see him in these types of movies.
