The Rolling Stones' Farewell Tour?

That's what they all say!

The Rolling Stones
' next tour will reportedly be their last one because of their age! A source reveals:

"They're likely to perform in stadiums. It's almost certainly the last full-scale world tour. The band realize that age is creeping up on them. They want to bow out on top of their game, and not short-change fans."

The Stones are supposedly in talks with Live Nation to perform the shows worldwide next year.

We have a feeling this might be BS — their old age never stopped them before!

What do U think?

"…their old age never stopped them before!"

Mario, you do know they're already in their 70s right? Anyway I wouldn't miss their final tour for the world.

""their old age never stopped them before!"" Some times I think you say things like this on purpose, because no one is that stupid. Then I think, well it is FatBoy Mario.

  5. 5

I think YOU should retire FAT ASS! Shut that big ass trap before someone smacks it shut like WIM did. God I'd pay for that to happen again just to hear you tape yourself bitching. That made my day!

    Re: M.t. Dickinson
They are in their late sixties. Jagger celebrated his 67th birthday yesterday. I believe they are planning a new album. After their farewell tour, they could still play small venues, theatres, going back to their roots.

I wish Keith Richards would hit you in the head with His guitar Mario. LONG LIVE THE GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BAND IN THE WORLD.

  8. 8

Amazing that they can even consider this tour - but no bets necessary that it will be their last!

  9. 9

Every time they make this announcement I want to tell them to give it a rest. But then, if I catch a show, I marvel. Go figure.

  10. 10

The man died of old age, but, His old age never killed him before!

  11. 11

They had a Farewell Tour way back in the 80s and they never went farewell. I call BS!!!!!!

  12. 12

I've been to so many of their "farewell tours". Not about to shell out $300 for a ticket…. maybe $100. Saw them in their prime and they were fantastic.

  13. 13

No age can creep on them! I love them!

  14. 14

"old age is creeping up on them"

    LOL

old age crept up on them and hit them over the head about 30 years ago!!!

i wish they would all just crawl back into whatever crypt they came out of.

and what is with celebs constantly doing 'farwell' tours???
cher has been doing a farwell tour for ages, same with these geezers…

i think people are catching on that they will NEVER say farwell and actually LEAVE.

its like amanda bynes going into retirement….its just until they get another offer for more MONEY that it is farwell.

They were cretinous yahoos 40 years ago and they haven't changed a bit. Who gives a flying shit whether they tour or not! They're too damned old to be relevant and I can say that since I'm their same age!

  16. 16

Well, they're still better than Lady Gaga or Green Day…

  17. 17

    OH.MY.GOD!!

  18. 18

When I was 16, in 1981, I saw The Stones in Atlanta — the Tattoo You tour which was being (unofficially) billed as their farewell tour. That was nearly 30 years ago!

    Can't see it happening.

    *

Not at least as regards Keef and Ronnie. True musicians these two boys've gotta play guitar. That's just their thing, man. If they can't strum the ol' git-fiddle live an' in front of a loose positively reacting crowd then fr musicians like them life just ain't worth living.

    *

Of course, Keef and Ron do have other folks they like t play with so maybe the end of The Stones won't be so hard. But somehow I think not being able to go out as the world's premier longest lived rock band with some of the most classic tunes ever will eventually wear dull.

    *

These guys've still got more mojo than most of the popular youngins just starting up. We'll see how this pans out. They and others have said such things in the past and they've gone on tour again, so…

They have so much talent, I'm certain, like BB King, all they need are some comfortable chairs and they can keep rocking for as long as they like. I will ALWAYS go to see them when they come to San Francisco. Stones rock, always have, always will and it's as simple as that!

The Dave Clark Five was always better.
    I kid.
Don't phone it in if you tour.

  22. 22

Mick Jagger is 67. Good for them if they still have the stamina to tour. Let's see what the haters are doing at that age. The Stones are still productive and it's great especially since they still have millions of fans.

  23. 23

Characters from Tales From the Crypt! LOL

  24. 24

The Rolling Stones are a democracy and the only one who has always wanted to stop was Charlie, but he always gets out-voted by the other three. As long as they are still breathing, they won't stop. Keith and Ronnie love the music too much and Mick loves seeing his bank account get bigger too much. And Charlie will get out-voted until he dies and keep going on tour as always. They have been doing farewell tours since 1972, so I don't see it happening as long as they are still alive.

  25. 25

    They all look like zombies.

  26. 26

I paid to see their f-in retirement tours twice in 19-70 somethings… What a bunch of fucking twats — and me too for paying twice!

  27. 27

I've seen them live and seen them perform live on TV. They're studio geniuses but horrible in concert.
They're probably tryi to flesh out college funds for all theillegitimate offspring they've sired all over the world for so many years.
